Who: newbies + you
When: Day 22, evening
Where: around
[This evening, out of nowhere, Hazel's carriage disappears. There's a shower of sparkles, a bright light, and after that... it's gone. Anyone who was in its hallway is now in the Garden entrance. The Garden car itself is now hooked to Clover's carriage, as if it had aways been and Hazel was never real. Clover itself is currently bare as well -- the lock screen is dull, completely turned off, and there are no lights inside. No one is there, now, but at least the space remains.
In some carriages, that loss of vibrancy is countered by the appearance of some new heroes. In general, the gloomy mood throughout the train is only heightened by the onset of a heavy storm. Outside there's a crack of thunder that rattles the train, and it begins to pour so hard the edge of the clearing is barely visible through the windows.
The rain, the thunder, and the strobe-light effect of constant lightning will continue til dawn.]

Ginger (But also elsewhere kind of)
A voice reverberates not through your ears but through your mind, your entire being echoes with words, right to your core, the meaning as sharp and clear as if they were spoken beside you yet they come from nowhere and everywhere.]
DOST THOU DESIRE THE POWER?
...?
WAIT--WHAT?
[Well the spooky voice seem actually pretty confused and the whole lights-dimmed-cabin-isolated-from-the-world effect fades…
If you’re anywhere but Ginger that’s about it. Weird.
In Ginger however... Stepping out of one of the doors is a young man with mussed black hair in the team pajamas looking rather bewildered. This time his words are spoken aloud, and while the quality of his voice is much more normal and human, it’s the same one that reverberated through the cabin a moment before.]
Where… Is this?
no subject
Dost thou desire the power?
And there's something about that question that sounds achingly familiar and yet wholly not. Those memories are gone from him, but some part of him beyond memories holds onto them still. "Dost thou desire the power." The power for what? ]
Yeah, I'll bite.
[ He says this out loud to the confused voice that may or may not even hear him. ]

there is no answer or any inner spooky voices but like, watch this space or just keep an eye out for spooky voice owners I guess.]

but so - where does that leave it? a trick, or something within her, or a stranger with a similar sound? there's nothing for her to pursue, so how does she confirm it? well, and then there's the matter of what it's said. what does she do with that?
by the time rean gets to the lounge in his explorathon she's just sort of sitting in one of the chairs, by all appearances reading a book, but actually fairly deep in thought. still, she does spare a glance in his direction, waving a bit. you know, it's decent to do that much. ]

No.
[Later on, you might find this girl in the outrageously goth Licorice clothing, making a fork and knife dance around in the air.]

later they can be found taking in the rest of the train (and the storm going on outside) with the same quiet-seeming calm, or just. standing in the Garden car, staring into space. this... is still fine? ...maybe? ]

But why worry about that when you can practice with cool new powers? Exactly. So she can be found in the lounge car, making various objects levitate and move around. Be careful not to get bonked with a chair or a plate or anything.]
Senna, and later elsewhere
"Saving the universe", huh.... [ the impeccable young man mutters as his eyes scan the cabin. even though he's clearly just woken up for the first time on this train, he's already perfectly dressed in the Senna uniform. Sans the jacket, that seemed a bit much for first impressions.
in one hand is a sword still nestled in its scabbard, and in his other is the phone that he just finished reading all the information he could on... which might explain his relatively calm, if not troubled, demeanor. ]
Excuse me if I'm wrong, but. [ to the nearest person he sees ] Is this some kind of elaborate prank?
[LATER OUTSIDE SENNA]
[ he's likely been told this is not a prank. which leaves him in a slightly more troubled state than before. the only thing he can do for now... is reconnaissance. ]
Ugh... [ when he thinks no one is around to hear... he just starts whine, ]
This is the worst... why am I the only one here? Scouting really isn't my thing...
