Who: newbies + you
When: Day 22, evening
Where: around
[This evening, out of nowhere, Hazel's carriage disappears. There's a shower of sparkles, a bright light, and after that... it's gone. Anyone who was in its hallway is now in the Garden entrance. The Garden car itself is now hooked to Clover's carriage, as if it had aways been and Hazel was never real. Clover itself is currently bare as well -- the lock screen is dull, completely turned off, and there are no lights inside. No one is there, now, but at least the space remains.
In some carriages, that loss of vibrancy is countered by the appearance of some new heroes. In general, the gloomy mood throughout the train is only heightened by the onset of a heavy storm. Outside there's a crack of thunder that rattles the train, and it begins to pour so hard the edge of the clearing is barely visible through the windows.
The rain, the thunder, and the strobe-light effect of constant lightning will continue til dawn.]

[she does sound chagrined and apologetic, he's just interesting and she was worried about that low mana.
She curtsies again, deeper than she would normally at a first meeting with many. Her head dipped as well, humbled with apology, and the entire motion is as smooth and graceful as a Spring breeze through flowers.]
I am 80H. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance, sir knight.

Just Rean, please. You don't have to apologize. You were preoccupied because you were worried, right? Honestly I'm touched.
no subject
Please do not be. I was only acting out of pragmatism.

I mean come on, you took one look at me, thought I was in danger, and approached me without hesitating. I don't know what to call that if not praiseworthy.
Thank you.

wow she has never wanted to avoid anyone so fast and Elaine Felkin is on this train holy shit HOLEEEEEEE SHHHHHHIIIIIIET.]
You are under a number of incorrect impressions, Mister Rean.
[even without her blindfold her face would be inscrutable.]
Letting a new member of this train fall to uselessness would be unacceptable. That is all. So do not thank me, I am merely serving my own interests.

[On impulse he reaches out and pats her head gently.]
Well, thanks anyway, 80H. I find the concern touching regardless.
no subject
That is pathetic if believe that to be concern. Why did you do that?
no subject
As to... why what, pat your head?
no subject
Yes.
[she is like fleetingly pink, if you pay attention]

[kind of a lie but you know]
But I am not a good person, at any rate. And I did not realise a quiet personality was cause for alarm.

she cannot FUCKING BELIEVE THIS. She wants to run away from these asinine questions and conversation, but that will give this--give him--more power and she will not tolerate that.]
I do not object to that notion, provided they are accurate.
