Who: newbies + you
When: Day 22, evening
Where: around
[This evening, out of nowhere, Hazel's carriage disappears. There's a shower of sparkles, a bright light, and after that... it's gone. Anyone who was in its hallway is now in the Garden entrance. The Garden car itself is now hooked to Clover's carriage, as if it had aways been and Hazel was never real. Clover itself is currently bare as well -- the lock screen is dull, completely turned off, and there are no lights inside. No one is there, now, but at least the space remains.
In some carriages, that loss of vibrancy is countered by the appearance of some new heroes. In general, the gloomy mood throughout the train is only heightened by the onset of a heavy storm. Outside there's a crack of thunder that rattles the train, and it begins to pour so hard the edge of the clearing is barely visible through the windows.
The rain, the thunder, and the strobe-light effect of constant lightning will continue til dawn.]

[and likely of mind but she doesn't to be rude]

Look, I'm not trying to fix you, I'm asking a question that you're refusing to answer. That alone kind of answers it though.

[like she knows she's not important but like, also, she's persistent.]
Why should I answer you when you will not heed what I myself have to say?

[she would not be so blatant to someone she just met, but she is annoyed for a number of reasons, now.]

....Is it that hard to think about yourself in a positive way? Or have others?

Anyway I'll take that as yes.
[He reaches over and puts a hand on her head again, gently.]
Sorry to stress you out when you were just trying to look out for me.
no subject
[okay you know what, she is just going to lay it out]
I am not a nice person. I am not a good person. I have no desire to be as I find such things inconvenient. I feel no "stress" in dealing with you, because I would have to care to let that affect me. Rest assured that I do not.
no subject
Okay. If that's what you're going with. Just one question though.

she immediately fixes her hair and gets it to being perfect again. also this reminds her of deku and she doesn't like it.]
I will not answer if it is inane or asinine.

Does it make you happy to be this way?

[He is, really, and sincerely, sorry about it?]
If I've made you uncomfortable, I apologize.

[like she can just avoid him herself because, oddly, despite everything part of her doesn't want him to go out of his way.]
If I let everyone whose opinion did not matter affect me to such debilitating degrees every time, I would never progress in anything.

like that catches her a bit off guard like]
Why would it be? That is the point. There is no hardship if I ignore what does not matter.

it's a lie and it's not, but she's just met rean, does not like rean, and so feels no compunction to be truthful, honest, or to make an effort.]
It is what it is. I will do as I must.

[He has his own opinions but she's obviously stubborn and not open to talking so he isn't sure what else to say.]
Well. All that aside, it's interesting how you could read my state so easily. Are you a witch?
no subject
I am a mage, not a witch.
