Who: newbies + you
When: Day 22, evening
Where: around
[This evening, out of nowhere, Hazel's carriage disappears. There's a shower of sparkles, a bright light, and after that... it's gone. Anyone who was in its hallway is now in the Garden entrance. The Garden car itself is now hooked to Clover's carriage, as if it had aways been and Hazel was never real. Clover itself is currently bare as well -- the lock screen is dull, completely turned off, and there are no lights inside. No one is there, now, but at least the space remains.
In some carriages, that loss of vibrancy is countered by the appearance of some new heroes. In general, the gloomy mood throughout the train is only heightened by the onset of a heavy storm. Outside there's a crack of thunder that rattles the train, and it begins to pour so hard the edge of the clearing is barely visible through the windows.
The rain, the thunder, and the strobe-light effect of constant lightning will continue til dawn.]

Naeva kind of backed up a few steps here. Woah there, buddy.]
You really shouldn't go scritching any jackal you see, you know.

[He only blinks once, before smiling at her.]
I should have figured someone this gorgeous might be more than she seems.

The Malice was described to us as negativity and hate. When it infects someone it changes their behavior, amplifying it to it's most negative extremes. We are supposed to be fighting it back with the strength of our bonds, but...
[She pauses, and sighs.] There's no point not telling you. Many on this train seem uninterested in forming more than superficial bonds, and I fear that will cost us direly.

[Tilting her head, because that's not ridiculous on a jackal.]
So, how much do you remember of who you are?

[He makes a vague wiggling hand motion. And look, a jackal headtilt is cute af.]
I'm Rean Schwarzer, Divine Knight. Just Rean is fine.

[She sits up, very regal for a jackal. He gave titles, so...]
I am Naeva dos Martos, Queen of the Black Forest. But please just call me Naeva.

[A Jackal Queen is nothing to bat an eye at.]
