Who: newbies + you
When: Day 22, evening
Where: around
[This evening, out of nowhere, Hazel's carriage disappears. There's a shower of sparkles, a bright light, and after that... it's gone. Anyone who was in its hallway is now in the Garden entrance. The Garden car itself is now hooked to Clover's carriage, as if it had aways been and Hazel was never real. Clover itself is currently bare as well -- the lock screen is dull, completely turned off, and there are no lights inside. No one is there, now, but at least the space remains.
In some carriages, that loss of vibrancy is countered by the appearance of some new heroes. In general, the gloomy mood throughout the train is only heightened by the onset of a heavy storm. Outside there's a crack of thunder that rattles the train, and it begins to pour so hard the edge of the clearing is barely visible through the windows.
The rain, the thunder, and the strobe-light effect of constant lightning will continue til dawn.]

Senna, and later elsewhere
"Saving the universe", huh.... [ the impeccable young man mutters as his eyes scan the cabin. even though he's clearly just woken up for the first time on this train, he's already perfectly dressed in the Senna uniform. Sans the jacket, that seemed a bit much for first impressions.
in one hand is a sword still nestled in its scabbard, and in his other is the phone that he just finished reading all the information he could on... which might explain his relatively calm, if not troubled, demeanor. ]
Excuse me if I'm wrong, but. [ to the nearest person he sees ] Is this some kind of elaborate prank?
[LATER OUTSIDE SENNA]
[ he's likely been told this is not a prank. which leaves him in a slightly more troubled state than before. the only thing he can do for now... is reconnaissance. ]
Ugh... [ when he thinks no one is around to hear... he just starts whine, ]
This is the worst... why am I the only one here? Scouting really isn't my thing...

[She's sitting there. impeccably dressed herself. Drinking tea.]
You've just arrived, I take it?
no subject
ah no. he can't think about that when there's clearly a huge problem here. ]
No, you see... if this isn't a prank then that means the Saniwa must have failed. [ so it has to be a prank. ]

[She is pouring him a cup of tea.]
no subject
to be honest. he really doesn't like this. so screw that.
also screw your tea. ]
I can't be the only one who appeared here!

[Her eyes narrow, sharply, and her tone of voice grows sharper.]
Calm down. They can be saved, but not if you panic.
no subject
....... you're right. I apologize, ma'am. [ calm down.. calm down.... ]
Then... how are we to save them?

We've been told that the strength of our bonds with each other can become energy that will restore the lost stars.
[she sighs, a little.]
Which isn't to say there's no danger...though I believe I might recommend you speak to Miss Eliza. If she teaches you, it also generates that energy, and she's very knowledgeable.
But, before that...what is your name?
no subject
Kashuu Kiyomi-- [ god he has to stop responding with his full name. but he already told the other girl, ] Kiyomitsu.
If you don't mind my jumping ahead, where am I supposed to find this Eliza-san?

something. it smells like curry. ]
Regretfully - I must concede that isn't the case.
no subject
and the smell of curry is distracting. ]
You're cooking at a time like this?
no subject
Of course. Dinner is most appropriately consumed during the evenings, is it not?
no subject
Isn't this a crisis?

[ sitting down in one of the dining chairs ]
Ah - to some degree, certainly... as you've gleaned, however, there is little to be done for the matter at this juncture, save for acquainting ourselves, or else intimation of some sort... bonding, rather, I suppose.
What is your name?
no subject
Ah-- it's Kashuu Kiyomitsu, child of- [ stops. ... bad habits. ] You can call me Kiyomitsu.
If you don't mind, could you go back to that "bonding" part? What exactly do you mean by that?
no subject
[ there is some definite
recognition in her tone ]
That was... ah, rather - was that not the name ascribed to the second of Okita Souji's swords...?
no subject
It's a nickname!! [ voice crack, ]
