[With the usual jostle of the train, the Hermit’s tent appears in the clearing. His deep, cheerful voice rings out:]

That last Trial was a bit of a mess, wasn’t it? Well, rest assured our dear Vampire friend is very sorry about it.

Of course that doesn’t make you feel better, but how about a mood booster? “Come hither”, and let’s think positive!

[Upon entering the tent, you’ll find yourself on a round, black-tiled platform at the bottom of a clear glass elevator. Look outside and you'll spot the other two groups in their own elevators, facing you on the other walls of a triangular pit. You can't reach or hear them at the moment, but they look safe enough.

In your own elevator, you’ll find a podium with a speaker and a push-to-talk microphone. Taped next to them is a laminated paper containing the rules, titled:

The goal of this game is to boost up your fellow heroes! The rules are simple:

☆ Each round will focus on one group. During that round, compliments and encouragements for that group must be spoken into the microphone.

☆ Groups must submit one encouragement per member of the target group.

☆ If it’s your group’s round, you have to encourage yourself! (Yes, yourself, not your groupmates.)

☆ Encouragements will be rated from 1 to 3 by the Hermit based on sincerity and cheese. The sappier the better!

☆ The target group’s elevator will then raise based on the number of awarded points.

☆ The two groups that give the most points will win. There are no consequences for the losing group!

[The platform for Group 1 lights up suddenly, a rainbow of shifting colours around the edges of the circle and equally colourful spotlights following the people inside.]

We start with the fantastic Thyme & Licorice! Let’s show them how appreciated they really are. Make it as corny as you can muster!

The rainbow lights fade. In their place, different lights come on:

For Group 1, their platform is shining gold! There's a popping noise from above, and a rain of golden confetti comes down on their heads.

For Group 2, their platform is shining silver!

For Group 3, their platform is shining bronze!

Tonight, there will be new stars in goldenrod, apple, violet, & hot pink!

For now, though, the elevator doors have opened. Leaving through them will send you back to the clearing with a final message.]

Hey, call me impressed! Some of you had a hard time, but I'm sure it'll be a helpful experience in the long run. Remember, you're all "heroes" to us!
