The Sixteenth Trial

Where: The Hermit's Tent

[With the usual jostle of the train, the Hermit’s tent appears in the clearing. His deep, cheerful voice rings out:]

That last Trial was a bit of a mess, wasn’t it? Well, rest assured our dear Vampire friend is very sorry about it.

Of course that doesn’t make you feel better, but how about a mood booster? “Come hither”, and let’s think positive!

[Upon entering the tent, you’ll find yourself on a round, black-tiled platform at the bottom of a clear glass elevator. Look outside and you'll spot the other two groups in their own elevators, facing you on the other walls of a triangular pit. You can't reach or hear them at the moment, but they look safe enough.

In your own elevator, you’ll find a podium with a speaker and a push-to-talk microphone. Taped next to them is a laminated paper containing the rules, titled:

Naeva's one of the most resilient people I've ever met-- she's gone through hell in her life and still manage to come through the other side with an inner core of strength and kindness in measure. If that's not a good mark of character, there's no such thing. She's got a dry sense of humour and she's a damned sight more mischievous than you'd think at first glance. She's a tricky little jackal and that's pretty damned cool.

Okay! To the new Jasmine guy, none of us over here really know you yet but that doesn't mean you're getting out of compliments! You're a mystery, and there's very few things more fun than getting to learn new things. What kind of person you are, the way you speak, think, feel-- all of it's gonna be totally new and that's exciting!

And last but never least--

80H has a sharp intelligence and keen wit that'll keep you on your toes any day of the week, all wrapped up in a pretty face that you'd be wrong to underestimate. If you manage to catch her interest with a topic she knows about, you're guaranteed to learn something new about it. It's nerdy, but it's a kind of nerdy that's really charming. She's not usually the kind to joke around but she'll catch you by surprise and that's just fun. Her magical talent isn't anything to be trifled with-- both in combat and healing, she's top notch. And if you're ever lucky enough to see her in a fight, then you're in for a damned treat-- and I'm not just talking about that skimpy little "combat uniform" she wears. She's beauty and grace and she'll wreck you if you don't watch out.

And she's got a great rack.
