The Sixteenth Trial
Who: trialgoers
When: Day 37, afternoon
Where: The Hermit's Tent
[With the usual jostle of the train, the Hermit’s tent appears in the clearing. His deep, cheerful voice rings out:]
That last Trial was a bit of a mess, wasn’t it? Well, rest assured our dear Vampire friend is very sorry about it.
Of course that doesn’t make you feel better, but how about a mood booster? “Come hither”, and let’s think positive!
[Upon entering the tent, you’ll find yourself on a round, black-tiled platform at the bottom of a clear glass elevator. Look outside and you'll spot the other two groups in their own elevators, facing you on the other walls of a triangular pit. You can't reach or hear them at the moment, but they look safe enough.
In your own elevator, you’ll find a podium with a speaker and a push-to-talk microphone. Taped next to them is a laminated paper containing the rules, titled:
Raise Eachother Up
Time for some cheer and positivity!]

Feeling shy?
Re: GROUP 1: Thyme, Licorice
Why are you human again?
[and she is not]
Re: GROUP 1: Thyme, Licorice
Complimenting yourself isn't disingenuous though, it's just stating what you're proud of about yourself.

Re: GROUP 2: Ginger, Clover
Cat, I don't think we've ever really talked but we should change that. Every time I see you you seem composed and thoughtful. That kind of poise is something I find admirable, and I'd love to find out what more there is.
Eliza. You really are a a joy to talk to. Your enthusiasm for academics and sincerity when speaking are both charming, and your smile is brilliant. You're a breath of fresh air. I admire your strength of will and your determination, the way you face things head on as yourself, without compromising on kindness or your personal integrity, yet still speaking your mind. I wouldn't want to get on your bad side, not out of fear, but because I crave your respect.
Crow, even though you're a complete pervert, you're a sweet guy too. Whether you see it or not, the way you tease and provoke people, the way you can lighten a mood with antics and games, that's kindness, that's looking out for others. You have an inner strength, a will of steel that rarely shows itself, but never seems to bend. Your laugh is great, your smile is great. I also think you're damn handsome.
...Well that's what I want to send should I add more?
Re: GROUP 2: Ginger, Clover

Might wanna note that she's the wiggliest and the scuttliest. She can even out-wiggle and out-scuttle a ferret.

I don't know Cat very well, but she seems like a diligent and hard worker, and while she may be quiet, she doesn't seem to shy away from any challenges presented.
Eliza, obviously, is a delightful and cheerful young woman, always ready to share knowledge, and eager to learn about more. She takes great burdens onto herself, in an attempt to keep the spirits of those on the train high, and deserves endless praise for her straightforward and sweet nature.
Crow...[A long pause.] He has no shame. It wouldn't thus embarrass him to hear that he is surprisingly diligent, an excellent marksman, and possessing of great ingenuity and adaptability.
And I categorically refuse to remark on his appearance whatsoever.
