[With the usual jostle of the train, the Hermit’s tent appears in the clearing. His deep, cheerful voice rings out:]

That last Trial was a bit of a mess, wasn’t it? Well, rest assured our dear Vampire friend is very sorry about it.

Of course that doesn’t make you feel better, but how about a mood booster? “Come hither”, and let’s think positive!

[Upon entering the tent, you’ll find yourself on a round, black-tiled platform at the bottom of a clear glass elevator. Look outside and you'll spot the other two groups in their own elevators, facing you on the other walls of a triangular pit. You can't reach or hear them at the moment, but they look safe enough.

In your own elevator, you’ll find a podium with a speaker and a push-to-talk microphone. Taped next to them is a laminated paper containing the rules, titled:

Naeva's one of the most resilient people I've ever met-- she's gone through hell in her life and still manage to come through the other side with an inner core of strength and kindness in measure. If that's not a good mark of character, there's no such thing. She's got a dry sense of humour and she's a damned sight more mischievous than you'd think at first glance. She's a tricky little jackal and that's pretty damned cool.

Okay! To the new Jasmine guy, none of us over here really know you yet but that doesn't mean you're getting out of compliments! You're a mystery, and there's very few things more fun than getting to learn new things. What kind of person you are, the way you speak, think, feel-- all of it's gonna be totally new and that's exciting!

And last but never least--

80H has a sharp intelligence and keen wit that'll keep you on your toes any day of the week, all wrapped up in a pretty face that you'd be wrong to underestimate. If you manage to catch her interest with a topic she knows about, you're guaranteed to learn something new about it. It's nerdy, but it's a kind of nerdy that's really charming. She's not usually the kind to joke around but she'll catch you by surprise and that's just fun. Her magical talent isn't anything to be trifled with-- both in combat and healing, she's top notch. And if you're ever lucky enough to see her in a fight, then you're in for a damned treat-- and I'm not just talking about that skimpy little "combat uniform" she wears. She's beauty and grace and she'll wreck you if you don't watch out.

And she's got a great rack.

Naeva, you are so cool. Honestly, I can't stress enough how admirable you are in so many ways. Whether it's in day to day taking care of others or in, well, more stressful situations, you don't put up with nonsense and you speak your mind readily. The way you can just fight someone one their problems, the way you can dunk someone while yelling about loving others, it's cool.

Also you have the softest and most luxurious fur, if that's not too bold to add.

80H, you aren't going to want to hear this, but here it is; you're kind. You're sweet. When you blush it's truly cute. I imagine when you smile it's even cuter. You have incredible talent at healing, at cooking, at making tea, probably at anything you put your mind to, because you're intelligent, skilled and diligent. You have the attitude of a perfectionist, someone with pride in her skill and work, and I find that respectable, admirable. Your poise and dignity are also not to be forgotten, though I do think it's nice to loosen up sometimes, the way you carry yourself is with unfaultable grace.

Finally, the guy on Jasmine who keeps acting like a stray cat, you're a sweet guy but hard to figure out. Still, you care, and deeply, about the people you like, to the point it could be scary if it weren't so endearing. You're cute, and weird, and I hope we get to know each other better.

Though I haven't spent significant time with Naeva, she's still made a strong impression. She's clearly a woman of strong principles and the will and power to act on them. She cares deeply for her people, and cannot abide evil or corruption. Though she isn't so foolish as to be fearless, she faces things head-on in a way I find quite admirable. If she believes in a course of action, she won't back away from threats or criticism. Her homeland is clearly blessed by her presence.

Though 80H strikes me as less than self-assured, she is polite and attentive. Decisive when necessary and considerate of those around her, she's an asset to her team and to the train as a whole. I feel more confident knowing she's one of us.

I've yet to get to know the other young man, but as we've been assured, all of us have been brought here due to some kind of inner strength. It may be yet to show itself, but I'm confident he, too, carries within him the potential to help save the universe.

80H is someone whose very helpful to have around. She's smart, she's composed, and she can handle things with a certain level of dignity. She's both healed me and dried me off with magic without my even asking. She wants people to be in good health and have their own level of togetherness. She's got a dry sense of humor and it's easy to talk to her about even terrible things without needing to worry about her freaking out.

She's a reassuring presence to have around. When Clover was suffering from Vampire, she not only agreed to help fix us, she even spent her own points on tools. I know, she's going to use them again, but it still seems like so much when she doesn't ask for things in return. I'm glad she's around and I think the train does a lot better with her around.

She is also extremely attractive and you already know what Noon would be specifying.

As for Loki, or the other guy, seriously, it's all right to choose a nickname. People want to know you, you know? [He's also trying real hard not to blush while talking about Cael for REASONS.]

He's genuinely adorable. He's not very talkative, but he gets these cute expressions when he's curious and he's kind of like a cat. He may bolt, but he's very affectionate when he's decided to approach. I was pretty tired after the secrets game, but he decided to sit with me a while to make sure I was relaxing. And when I was trying to deal with the affects of Vampire's game, he helped me get out of my own head. [The red is getting worse and just not gonna expand on that.] He's a very sweet person, and even if he's a little awkward, he seems to care about people.

He's really nice to be around and I hope to get to know him more. I'd really like to become good friends.

Also Noon believes in your ability to be really pretty if you wanted.

Naeva, we haven't really talked much, but you seem to be very well put together and dignified. Also you can apparently fight bears which sounds really cool? You're helpful and people say you want to help bond the train together. You're also very attractive, and Noon commentary here.

My fur is much softer than any other jackal or, indeed, any other canine I have ever met, and I work very hard to ensure it stays such. I take great pride in my appearance and fashion sense, as both a queen and an aesthetically-conscious woman.

Good day to you, esteemed heroes of the Aurora.

It would seem that fate would have us compliment ourselves. I am not here to pass judgements on this practise as decided by our...certainly wise runner, naturally, even if I would prefer to follow the path humility. It is not thinking less of oneself, but thinking of oneself less, leaving time and processing power better served to higher purposes.

Nonetheless.

I am 80H. My appearance is never out of sorts. I am always punctual. I brush after meals and do not leave messes for others to contend with. I do my utmost to be the best version of myself, training, studying, and learning what I can from others when they have knowledge of value. I make myself available to anyone for virtually anything and ask nothing in return, believing an excellent job, discipline, and any opportunity are their own rewards.

I will always do my best for trials. Any trial. Every trial.
