[With the usual jostle of the train, the Hermit’s tent appears in the clearing. His deep, cheerful voice rings out:]

That last Trial was a bit of a mess, wasn’t it? Well, rest assured our dear Vampire friend is very sorry about it.

Of course that doesn’t make you feel better, but how about a mood booster? “Come hither”, and let’s think positive!

[Upon entering the tent, you’ll find yourself on a round, black-tiled platform at the bottom of a clear glass elevator. Look outside and you'll spot the other two groups in their own elevators, facing you on the other walls of a triangular pit. You can't reach or hear them at the moment, but they look safe enough.

In your own elevator, you’ll find a podium with a speaker and a push-to-talk microphone. Taped next to them is a laminated paper containing the rules, titled:

I'm someone whose dedicated in helping my allies. I work hard and even if it's hard to socialize so much in a short amount of time, I've gotten to know a lot of people on the train and I'm proud of that. I'm good at adapting to crazy bullshit and focusing on what needs to be done. I can prioritize and follow through.

I'm a hell of a shot, I'm strong, and I can take a hit. I'm pretty good at preparing myself for the worst, but can also hope for the best.

I don't remember a lot of people, but I'm fairly confident Rean is one of the nicest people I've ever met. He cares about others and he wants what's best for them, even if he can be kind of a mother hen. He's strong and he's a good judge in what his opponent can take in a fight. He's patient with people, far more than I think most can be, and he's always willing to help out. He's incredibly sweet, and funny, and he's incredibly adorable when flustered. Not a half bad kisser either, and just cute in general.

I greatly admire his positivity and his ability to keep a level head when it comes to emotional things. He's fun to talk to and hang around with and comforting to be around when things may not be so good. I'm really happy to have met him.

Noon, I think you're actually pretty funny. I may not always be in the mood for jokes, but it feels familiar and it makes me pretty fond of you. I think you actually care more for people than you let on, and I'm glad you're willing to bond, even if it's full of so much sarcasm.

Rufus, we haven't talked a lot, but I've heard a lot of people mention you and they seem to like you. Someone well liked is someone to be admired. They've said you're intelligent and context clues say you've got quite a bit of willpower.

You care about people enough to wish for these kind of trials over others, so you have a kind heart.
