[The sun has gone down when the heroes receive an unmarked message:

This Star has secrets you should know. If you want to find them, follow the light.

Should they look outside, they will in fact see a light -- a thin but bright pillar rising from the overgrown town out in the jungle.

It's still raining, still covered in frogs, but there's definitely something going on.

And in the direction of the beach, there's also a faint, bell-like ringing. But that's not what's calling you right now... is it?]

Just a few quick guidelines:

★ This is an Event, not a Trial. There is no scoring, and everyone who participates gets 300 sparks.

★ You can attend multiple sessions! ICly they take place one after another. You only get sparks once though.

★ Each session has a different location and different clues to the same story. Characters will have to compare what they found after all sessions are over to get the full picture.

★ There is a map for each session here!

he doesn't actually notice immediately at first. he's too annoyed at the entire situation, he's too focused on returning to the train, he just assumes that Morning is behind him.

and maybe she was. maybe he didn't even hear her scream when she got caught by the thorns. either way... he realizes too late.


and he freezes. and stares, eyes wide and near vacant at the entrance to the basement now covered completely in vines.

[Like Rean, Rufus currently has glass skin. Some of it is just kinda shiny, some patches have gone transparent and you can see the blood and muscle beneath. Around the joints, there's bleeding cracks.]

For all that trouble, I hope someone found some "secrets".

she didn't see what happened, but she smells the blood pretty potently, so she's scrambled off hazel and is trying to stand up, trying to find the others in a bit of a blind panic...

she can barely walk, she's so weakened, and she's definitely wobbly, but she's not outwardly injured, at least.]

[Isildur's ghost, shaped by the water clinging to his invisible hide and a few bloody streaks, comes tearing out of the Community Center, scrambling around the group to set them like a barrier between the flooding building and his two passengers.

Eliza stumbles down from his back and slumps shivering to the ground]

[He also got grabbed on the dragon ghost express here, and pulled out at the end. He's badly injured and bleeding rather extensively, hand still clenched where he had had a sword before we presume the event ending made it dissolve back into blood.

He doesn't fall over when he gets off, because years of training have beaten into him that if you're conscious you better stay up and moving, but he does seem to just be standing there, trying to catch his breath figuratively and literally.]

[He looks over everyone who arrives but he already knows and it's an ache in his chest of failure and grief that makes it impossible to approach anyone. He's just, quietly confirming everyone's status while he struggles with it.]
