EVENT: ORIGIN'S ORIGINS

Who: explorers!
When: Day 31, night
Where: The Jungle

[The sun has gone down when the heroes receive an unmarked message:
This Star has secrets you should know. If you want to find them, follow the light.

Should they look outside, they will in fact see a light -- a thin but bright pillar rising from the overgrown town out in the jungle.

It's still raining, still covered in frogs, but there's definitely something going on.

And in the direction of the beach, there's also a faint, bell-like ringing. But that's not what's calling you right now... is it?]

...? Sorry.

That feels better, thanks.

[She just sort of waves a hand at the apology. Not really the place to keep gekkering at him right now...]

I can't really do much about the glass, unfortunately. This sort of ailment...doesn't occur in my own world, so we haven't the techniques to cure them.

It's a little like petrification? But not quite.
desirestruth: (I wonder which one is better)

Gorgons don't turn people to glass...and the petrification is more complete.

[She does seem to be considering this.] An alchemical solution might be useable with study, but I have not regained that set of skills, and I can't ask you to remain in this state for that long.
