[The sun has gone down when the heroes receive an unmarked message:

This Star has secrets you should know. If you want to find them, follow the light.

Should they look outside, they will in fact see a light -- a thin but bright pillar rising from the overgrown town out in the jungle.

It's still raining, still covered in frogs, but there's definitely something going on.

And in the direction of the beach, there's also a faint, bell-like ringing. But that's not what's calling you right now... is it?]

[some of the cuts going up her side are fine enough that they’ve already scabbed, but there’s deeper slices on her arm that could need stitches and they’re still fresh enough to be bleeding. her t-shirt is totally going to be ruined.]
