a silvery-grey sigil flares to life before Timur's palm, followed by a wave of kinetic force, aimed to bowl the conglomerating blobs over and separate them if he can]

[as the Naans dissolve, Akira's laughter abruptly cuts off. he squares his stance, blue fire dancing around one hand as he curls his fingers into a fist]

All right, then! Come on! Let's dance!

[and then a transparent white dragon bursts into being behind him, shooting a bit of psychic energy at the Jusisblobs who are trying to become a human(?) figure in an attempt to blow them apart]

[NO?????? Honestly the best option seems to be "get over to where the others are" since it's bad to be alone vs numbers but. It doesn't seem like just jumping or ducking will get him out of this circle.

Abruptly yanks one of his top layers off, throws the fabric over the smallest blob thing (does it even need its eyes???), and tries to forcefully barrel in that direction.]

[ Pathiri. . . rolls a blob away. Well, the blob is rolled away, and it takes his coat with him. Eclair, Kaiko, and Pathiri will find themselves together, but no less stronger for it.

Magic explodes the blobs, separates them down to little bits of gunk all around the tunnel's floors. Timur's and Akira's magics seem to hold them down for just a moment, before - ]

[ They reconstitute as if nothing happened. From the bits and pieces of blobs on the ground come more of the ghostblobs, producing fingers attached to nothing at first - and they grab onto everyone's boots, chattering laughter as they produce fingernails to dig into your shoes, as they climb on you.

Hlasoh will find her blob clinging on, particularly to her eyes; she doesn't see darkness, though. No.

She can see the past - the time that she had murdered her friends. It comes as a brief flash, and then - she can see the rest of the people in the tunnels, all dead. Blobs gone, but everyone's somehow dead anyway. How . . . ? It seems like it's her usual method of murder, right. . . ?

The blob covers her ears, and she can hear it: whispers, chatters. Of course you would, of course you would murder everyone. It was just a matter of time - you enjoy this sort of thing, don't you?

Kaikoblob gives a grin as she points up, in a singsong voice.

"Red paper or blue paper?" ]

[the dragon vanishes in a whirl of blue fire, and before Akira can do anything else, there are ghostblob fingers grabbing onto his shoes. his confident, fiery expression fades into alarm as he kicks out with one foot, trying to send the blob flying]

she drops to her knees, making a keening sound, seemingly heedless of everything around her.]

[ ...well she was fully prepared to spend several long moments agonizing over whether getting near teammates was anything resembling a good idea, considering what happened earlier and that "her" blob seems to be trying to twist that particular knife

but instead said teammate continues to be really moe. which kind of doesn't help the worry or guilt, but does at least make up her mind not to try to put distance between them again. ]

[welp. let's call that a partial success.

Akira had said something about laughter, but it's hard to find much about this situation funny with the bloblings climbing his and everyone's body. so getting rid of that is his first priority.

he takes a few steps until he's closer to the center of the group, as close as he can get without dodging more blobs. an aura of fierce red light ignites around his fist, and he drives it straight down into the ground.

there's a thunderous roar, and a flare of crimson light, leaving seething cracks in the earth, but for all its fury the wave of light washes over allies untouched. not so the blobs; in addition to the massive shockwave, the wild magic warps them wildly, causing random status effects: sleep, confusion, petrification, burning, you name it, a blob probably gets it.

timur dusts off his hands. now that's entertainment.]

[ The blobs are abused! This is blob abuse! Akira can kick the blobs away and so can Pathiri, even though that's all very mean. Eclair can even stomp on them. . . Even though that's very mean.

The blobs are struck with paralysis, sleep, confusion, etcetera - and these effects do seem to stay, at least for the blobs that aren't just straight up damaged. For those that are petrified and burned and frozen, though - ]

[ - they just reconstitute, gathering together to become a bigger creature. No, not just a creature - it's a creature on a throne, wearing full armor but glowing green. When it - he? - speaks, it's difficult to quite parse what the words are, but regardless, they will ring familiar to Timur. The Voices of Nerat bangs its scepter onto the ground, and it cracks wide open, trying to sink Timur underneath - trying to isolate him from everyone else.

Hlasoh's distraction with her panic might be enough for her to ignore this: the burning at her eyes - maybe those are tears? - as the blob starts eating away wherever it touches, filling into her eyesockets when it dissolves the bodyparts. It seems to be trying to reach into her, somewhere - to activate something. You can do it. You already did it. Just do it again, this is your fate, you know? - the blobs whisper into her ear.

Kaikoblob is - temporarily confused, looking slow to respond with that choice. Then, she smiles.

"Redbluewhite it is!"

From the ceiling drips viscous, red fluid. It smells like iron, but maybe you shouldn't get distracted by that when Kaikoblob is trying to strangle you. All three of you. She has three arms! ]
