[Akira's too busy focusing on the blobs that he doesn't see her coming. he doesn't notice her until her hands are around his neck, squeezing tightly and completely cutting off his airflow. with a choked, breathless noise, he grips at her hands as tightly as he can, trying to yank them away from his throat. and, in the same movement, he rocks back into her, also attempting to knock her back and away from him]

[Between the blast of force, and Akira's struggling, she's knocked away, and down to the floor, landing quite hard. But she howls a deranged laugh as she tries to struggle to feet, feeling the Abyssal magic pulse through her, seeming to guide her muscles, train her emotions to seek violence, stumbling clumsily back towards the group with hands outstretched.]

[Timur normally isn't this quippy, but under the circumstances it's kind of a thing. he levels a palm at her and unleashes an arm-thick beam of green light that smashes into her with a heavy, physical force -- but more importantly, it applies petrification: it won't last that long, but maybe it'll be long enough.]

[Akira gasps for air as soon as Hlasoh lets go, stumbling forward as his hands move to his neck to gently touch the newly forming bruises that ring his skin. his gaze snaps up as soon as he hears that green light smash into her, and. . .]
