Who: You
When: Day 52, morning
Where: Anywhere
[Of course there's still the flowers that, when stepped on, enhance or dull a sense, and there are still some chocolates in the lounge if you missed them or want more.
But this morning dawns with an infestation of bats.
That is, tiny tiny clockwork bats that get in your hair and coffee and make tiny tiny clockwork bat screeches.
Should you encounter a clockwork bat, and they're pretty hard to dodge, the next person you talk to will... Well, see one of your memories.
Otherwise it seems like a pretty typical morning, and the bats will be gone by afternoon.]

OR
[You can find her in the lounge, watching memories.]
[One is her studying the magic of her friends and getting hit with a lot of errant magic and it's all so CONFUSING.]
[Or maybe a memory of vague ominous things. The three girls seem to be up to Something, though vague on what. But apparently Solar's done something similar and it miiiiight be a reason for people to Not Like Her. MYSTERIOUS.]
[Her name is staticed out.]

Re: lounge
....what thing?
[Looking at the screen with a deep frown.]

The whole screen thing? Sorry, I'm still. New.
no subject
Yeah. Basically, we can watch memories here for five hundred, or memories privately for a thousand.
Because you know, invasions of privacy is totally a great bonding idea and it would be a sin to just have screen in our rooms or something.
no subject
But jeez, five hundred. . . ? That sounds like a lot. I should be glad I'll have no reason to do that.

Only lost abilities then? Or lucky overall?
no subject
[ she'd hate it too, not going to lie ]
I guess you could say that I'm lucky, but it's not like I really had abilities to begin with.
no subject
Everyone has some ability. It just depends how clever you are in application.
no subject
I'm just normal?
[ which is a lie, but she's keeping her stuff on the down low ]

And if abilities are supposed to be like memories, it makes sense talents are taken.
I mean, sure, humans don't have Cutie Marks, but so far no one has had no skills? I'd assume the talents are just harder to confirm.

there's quite a bit to unpack here ]
So like not knowing how to ride a bike.
Well, I guess I wouldn't say that I've forgotten how to do the things I'm decent at, although I'm aware that there will always be someone that's better than I am at them.

[Lounge]
That is you in your human form? Some of the memories you are missing?
Re: [Lounge]
Yeah. I can change into it here, but its not really....comfortable. Mostly use it for utility.
Too short to properly support a human body.

And what have you learned, besides just what was shown?
no subject
I brought magic to their world. I know Applejack has family present and Rainbow Dash treats magic like a shiny toy, not a fact of life. So they're likely natives.
Not much. Its too....erratic compared to unicorn magic. I could say a lot of what its not, but not what it is.
no subject
[He tsks.] That much was clear. But what have you learned about who you are, and who your friends are?
no subject
[Tilts her head thoughtfully.] I was a student of Princess Celestia's. Which would explain why I was trusted in the restricted section of the library. I was researching something, but I don't know what. Princess Celestia is the ruler of Equestria and has been for the last thousand years. So to be her student means I am exceptional in my talents with magic, though whether that's research or doing it is unclear.
At some point, I ended up in the human world. Somehow I brought magic to that world, and since then, it's caused problems. My friends can 'pony up' and use magic in a limited capacity. I can also pony up if I sing, so there's definitely a connection to music, but pony up isn't required for magic.
I learned how to drive and have been around long enough to figure out paperwork.
[ALSO MAYBE SHE DID A TERRIBLE THING, BUT YOU KNOW]
As for my friends...
Applejack takes care of people and has a level head. She has family. She has the ability to fix a ship's engine and did so despite being horribly sick and worried for Rainbow Dash because the storm was getting worse.
Rarity is dramatic and a romantic, but she cares about people and was willing to help me learn to drive. She does have an elegance about her.
Pinkie Pie is a bundle of energy, kind of easy to distract, but she'll focus on people if you give her a minute.
Fluttershy is meek, and loves animals. She's also very good at safety and she helped me pass my driver's test. She's....slow and steady which can be kind of annoying, but her patience helps with that.
Rainbow Dash is eager. She ran off when she thought dark magic was around, ready to fight it without a second thought. It got her in trouble and she's kind of a brat, but even in a bad storm, everyone was more worried about her being gone from the ship then them being stuck on a ship with no way to move with worsening weather.
All of them were pretty quick to act to help keep the ship calm and get things fixed.
And then there's Twilight whose....confusing. There's a human Twilight and there's a Princess in Equestria named Twilight. Same voice, same colors, but it's....there's a strength in the pony I don't see in the human. Not that I'd say she's weak, but....but there's not a surety. I'm not sure if they're the same person or just....some parallel version?
no subject
There is one important fact I saw that you may have missed. [He raises a finger.] Those three were wrong. Your friends clearly trust and respect you a great deal, to allow you to run tests on them that you do not fully understand and that they do not comprehend at all.
no subject
[Though she catches that hesitation.] So colors for their elemental abilities. That can happen. Not going to catch many ponies with an ice related talent that aren't somewhere around cool colors.
...it's not like those were dangerous tests. And they must have wondering what was going on. What's scarier, letting someone attach a few machines to you, or have immense power you don't know the first thing about?
no subject
Not just elemental abilities; there are many races of different colors who have no connection to magic of any sort.
[He smiles a little.] Letting someone you do not trust attach machines to you, of course. Especially as you openly know more about their magic than they do. But they had no fear that you were lying to them or holding back knowledge in order to trick and use them.
no subject
So pigmentation can be for non-magic. But they're all uniform in races usually?
... [She's silent a few moments, looking at the screen.] They...did seem to not think I was trying to pull something. And they did trust me and Twilight to go after Rainbow Dash even though they were really worried about her too.
