[ The beach fades away all at once, taking the cheery sunshine with it as evening hits all at once-- it melts away in a shower of sparkles as the familiar setting re-emerges. There are new stars in the sky above in clover pink, senna red, jasmine blue, and licorice violet.

Just before the beach disappears entirely, the bubbly voice speaks once more: ]

Wasn't that so much fun! You all rrrrrreally got to know each other, didn't you? Keep up the good work~!

[ If you had any alcohol in hand you still have it, otherwise everything from the trial is gone. ]

[ Crow doesn't see the whiskey at all. Mostly because he is too busy staring at her breasts. ]

Anyway, he's not telling her to go away, so she will take a seat next to him, not quite lying down just yet.]

[there's a tinny crystalline sound in the air a pair of different glasses form in her hands, from the bottom to the top. they're made of ice,

she pours him a tall glass and offers it to him, but pours herself something else. wine, from the looks of it.]

[ Crow accepts the cool glass and takes a long, slow sip of the whiskey. He lets out a sigh as his lips part from the glass, his shoulders loosening slightly. ]

Now that's the stuff.

[She watches him idly.]

[ He flashes a wink and a grin at 80H. ]

No. Hate is...it takes a great deal of investment to hate someone. I did not think so.

[She makes a face for a moment, clearly wanting to protest, but...doesn't.

she's not giving up, she does think she is remotely likable but she is

tired.

Not physically, but she hates she had to reveal anything of herself, much less as much as she did even if she managed to retain some secrets, as well.]

[ Maybe he likes unlikable people, 80H! But he glances over at her curiously. ]

I considered submitting it for points with you, truly considered, but it did not feel right to me...like you deserved better than that. I have a lot of fun with you, but you are not a game to me.

[ He's quiet for a long moment as he absorbs that, staring up at the sky. There's a lot to absorb there. Honestly, it doesn't change anything-- not on the surface. It's a huge concession from her, though, and he knows that's important. That they've definitely gotten closer than he'd ever intended.

...It's not the worst thing.

It feels like maybe he should say something too, but also-- that it would be taking away from this moment and maybe he doesn't want that. So he keeps his words locked up inside of him for now. Maybe later. He does speak up again at last, though. ]

[ Perhaps the correct response to that isn't laughter, but that's what she's getting out of Crow. It's just too funny is the thing, it's too funny and maybe he should tell her but he'd have to stop laughing first. ]

[ He shakes his head, but it still takes another moment before the laughter subsides enough for him to talk. ]
