Who: All the cute little heroes
When: Day 35, evening
Where: Back To Your Regularly Scheduled Great Outdoors, Just outside the train
[ The beach fades away all at once, taking the cheery sunshine with it as evening hits all at once-- it melts away in a shower of sparkles as the familiar setting re-emerges. There are new stars in the sky above in clover pink, senna red, jasmine blue, and licorice violet.
Just before the beach disappears entirely, the bubbly voice speaks once more: ]
Wasn't that so much fun! You all rrrrrreally got to know each other, didn't you? Keep up the good work~!
[ If you had any alcohol in hand you still have it, otherwise everything from the trial is gone. ]

you can skip there
To the clinic, then. This should not prove too much trouble.

besides, it's only proper.
but they will reach the clinic and she's setting her things down neatly, but easily, like someone setting their bag on the front table after coming home. She is comfortable here.]
Sit anywhere you wish.
[She, meanwhile, is going to get scrubs from the closet and move behind one of the dividers to get changed.]
Did you have any questions at all?
[the casual behaviour is a hidden, calculated kindness. he can be alone with his discomfort, she does not need to see it.]

He picks a place to sit, lounging in a manner that might seem comfortable if they weren't in a clinic. ]
Am I gonna be awake for this or do you have to knock me out?
no subject
The latter. If you have an academic curiosity I could perhaps indulge you, but I have a feeling you would rather not be awake. In that case, it will barely feel like time has passed.
[She redoes her hair, making certain her bangs are entirely away from her face and steps out from behind the divider. She is not entirely prepped for surgery yet, she does not to risk alarm.]

[ He winks at her. ]

[ He is so not getting laid. ]

She's busy, though, snapping on a pair of gloves, taking a needle and injecting it into a bottle to draw out its contents before putting pressure on it a little so fluid comes out.
Her voice is entirely (polite) deadpan.]
Did you hurt yourself lying that hard?

[she activates her eyes, she doesn't need a tourniquet to find a good vein when she's got magical x-ray vision.]
I need your arm, please. This is an anesthetic.
[it is, but she will also do him one better soon she just needs to cover herself]

Sure, let's get this over with.

[She injects him, but starts to Sing a moment after, an inhumanely layered, inhumanly beautiful Song that is deep and mournful, but in the Song, is a compulsion. A command.
Sleep.
Remember only the needle and have pleasant dreams.]

cw SURGERY STUFF
This is a pain to do without assistance in some ways but she manages. The magic helps. She makes it past muscle and reaches his organs and there it is, it's nestled and larger around the middle she can see it, but it will not remain. She reaches into Crow's insides to get it and it tries to swim away, as though sensing that it is danger of losing host and home, but she catches it. It will not be permitted.
She has it.
She puts it into a container she's prepared and snaps the lid shut. Parasites are not typically known for their power, but she takes no chances not knowing what this one is capable of and has reinforced the jar. Looking at it--properly looking at it with her Sight--she can see that is has so many, many teeth. why would it need that many? She counts her blessings that it did not decide to make a home within his liver or his heart or any other place.
She closes him back up, nice and neat and carries him to a clinic bed where she hooks him up to an IV. She needs to let him rest a while, she did give him chemical anesthetic too.]

How are you feeling?

[ He mumbles the words. ]
Where is it?
no subject
Do you truly wish to know the answer to that?
[like she'll tell him but she figures he would rather put it behind him
figuratively not literally.]
