The Second Trial
Who: game participants!
When: Day 5, night
Where: ~outside~
[A silence abruptly descends upon the jungle. For a moment, all is calm, and then a heavy gust of wind blows in, making the Aurora sway. In your mind is a call some of you have heard before:
Come hither, Heroes. Prove thy worth.
This time, however, there’s no worn-out house. Instead there’s a large tent -- dirty and imposing, with a jet black flag above it, it looks like a command tent right out of a medieval battlefield. The canvas is spattered in mud and blood, and white feathers are scattered all around it, carpeting the ground for several feet.
By your own will or by unexplained compulsion, you are drawn to the tent, to meet your second Trial. As you enter, a man’s voice, clear and resonant, rings out.]
“O unfortunate pawns of the Light, answer me this: What is Justice?”

It's surprising, but I'm glad of it.

... If you're going to be ridiculous, I'm leaving.

I am angry at your sheer arrogance. To try to take on the sacrifice without even seeking anyone else's agreement was beyond infuriating.
And did you think, simply because I know you hold guilt for your actions as a leader, I would easily forgive you attempting to take the choice not just from me, but everyone?
Others may disagree with our respective reasons for volunteering and it may be rather trying to argue your case, but the gall to disregard those voices and carry on as you please is the true problem!

I thought at the time that you'd at least understand my karma. It's fine that you didn't, it just means that you're somehow a better person than I even anticipated.
And of course, it doesn't matter at all that nothing bad would've happened had I succeeded.

I also did not think that it was likely the consequences would be severe, but the actual outcome either way matters little!
Taking the matter into your own hands with no regard for anyone else is the issue I take!
