[Of course there's still the flowers that, when stepped on, enhance or dull a sense, and there are still some chocolates in the lounge if you missed them or want more.

But this morning dawns with an infestation of bats.

That is, tiny tiny clockwork bats that get in your hair and coffee and make tiny tiny clockwork bat screeches.

Should you encounter a clockwork bat, and they're pretty hard to dodge, the next person you talk to will... Well, see one of your memories.

Otherwise it seems like a pretty typical morning, and the bats will be gone by afternoon.]

[It's not as though she manages to sound truly mad though. But he does get to see a particular memory -- a trial in another world; fifteen podiums, although not all of them are filled at this point. A number of people discuss alibis for the night in question. But the memory itself is... surprisingly light, as two individuals are teased over some unfortunate wording.]

I'm more a fan of dramatic--

[ He stops in the middle of that sentence though as the memory plays out in his head, only finishing the sentence when it's done and very belatedly. ]

[ Seeing memories isn't even unusual, though this is a strange and new way of doing it.

Yeah, he probably wouldn't have realized. Mostly it's just little things-- getting the orbal bike up and running with George and Gelica. Oh, and one other thing.

...we did have a lot of fun.

The whole thing was pretty great. The build-up, the planning, the outfits, the performance...! Man, now that's what I'd call a good time.
