[Of course there's still the flowers that, when stepped on, enhance or dull a sense, and there are still some chocolates in the lounge if you missed them or want more.

But this morning dawns with an infestation of bats.

That is, tiny tiny clockwork bats that get in your hair and coffee and make tiny tiny clockwork bat screeches.

Should you encounter a clockwork bat, and they're pretty hard to dodge, the next person you talk to will... Well, see one of your memories.

Otherwise it seems like a pretty typical morning, and the bats will be gone by afternoon.]

...we did have a lot of fun.

The whole thing was pretty great. The build-up, the planning, the outfits, the performance...! Man, now that's what I'd call a good time.

A healthy dose of disappointment never hurt anyone. It's what makes those moments so special.

Yeah but I try to keep the disappointments few and far between.

[ Crow is momentarily caught off-guard before he lifts his arms up to hug her back. ]

You are, but you've gotta admit it's pretty out of nowhere.

[ He caught that small comment but doesn't comment further. Sure, he'll let her hold onto him for as long as she needs. ]

Well I kind of wanted to earlier, but-- it would be weird if a girl you barely knew or didn't know at all just hugged you out of nowhere, right? So... I wanted to be sure first.

[A+ excuse. Not entirely a lie, but 100% an excuse.]

[ It's definitely an excuse and he knows it but Crow is going to do Towa the favour of not calling her out on it. ]

I definitely wouldn't have minded a cute girl hugging me out of nowhere.

[She says that, but she's laughing softly when she finally lets go of him.]

Buuut I'll take that as a compliment.

I prefer to think of it as "enhancing."

[ Crow shoots a grin at Towa. ]

Anyway, it's definitely a compliment.
