Where: The clearing, now no longer a beach

[ The beach fades away, leaving everyone back in the comfortable and familiar surroundings of the clearing and their-- beloved?-- train. There are some new stars in the sky, twinkling in ginger goldenrod, thyme apple, senna terracotta, jasmine blue, and clover pink.

The sound of a giggle fills the air and leaves behind bubbles-- touching one will give the uncontrollable urge to hug the nearest person. They will persist throughout the night. ]

[ Ducks her head a tiny smidge, but rather than shake him off or bat his hand away ... She reaches up to loosely hold it. ]

... I'd like to hope that I am.

He's ... he seems sensible. Level-headed, you know? It really helped.

[He smiles a bit and lets her keep his hand.]

Seem to be doing good so far.

It does. [Even if he can be incredibly cynical too, but hopefully Faito doesn't have to provoke that like he ended up doing.] Also a bit of a coffee fiend if you want to surprise him.

[ Some of the tension eases from her shoulders. What happened was Awkward, but it doesn't have to be a big deal. This is Fine and Nice and Okay. ]

[ and they can hopefully just let the whole thing go ]

Coffee, huh? You guys ... [ Shakes her head. ] Maybe I'll make some coffee brownies or a coffee cake or something.

I still prefer hot chocolate. I wouldn't quite put my enjoyment of coffee anywhere near his level.

Coffee cake would be nice. Might even be able to work in Clover if you want, I put in a request for an expansion.

If you wouldn't mind! Ginger's is still tiny. The only expansion we have is the hot spring.

[ takes a deep breath of the sea air, sighing it out slowly ]

Honestly ... I’ve barely gotten anything done these past couple of days.

I've been mostly cleaning glitter. And memory catch up.

Made friends with Delta and helped York sleep. That was nice.

What're they like?

Very logical. Delta's an AI, so he's mostly about facts and figures and analyzing things. He's partnered with York, whose more of a laidback kind of guy, lot more emotional intelligence to help balance out.

Delta is also pretty good to make fun of York with, he seems to get how fun ribbing it and York gets banter pretty well.

Oooh, an AI! [ That's EXCITING. ]

They sound like a fun pair to hang around with.
