The Eighth Trial
Who: Heroes
When: Day 17, morning
Where:the party zone The Fairy Circle
Come hither, Heroes. Prove thy worth.
Just like always, the train shudders in response to some foreign power. You’ve been here before, haven’t you? You know what will happen when you venture out of the train and into the dark forest beyond in search of some old house, or a tower, or whatever fresh nonsense awaits you.
But there’s no inexplicable new castle or what-have-you. Instead the air outside the train is filled with glittering bubbles floating lazily above what appears to be a collection of large white mushrooms grown in a circle.
Obviously there is no door, and touching any of the bubbles will simply cause them to burst. Should you step into the circle, however….
Foolish heroes, destined to be swallowed by the encroaching malice… can your hearts truly withstand the nightmare that is reality?
Darkness overtakes you.
When you wake up the first thing you may notice is this game has a soundtrack. The music appears to have no discernible source and fills the entire room. ... and what a room it is.
It appears you’ve been transported to some kind of… children’s… birthday party?
At the far end of the room is a large table with a sign above it reading HAPPY BIRTHDAY. It’s a pretty impressive set up with a variety of goodies including noise makers, party hats, disposable plates and cups, and enough sugar to fuel a whole room full of grade schoolers
The biggest and arguably most important party refreshment sits right in the middle of the table, however; a giant bowl of fruit punch. Don’t worry children it’s non-alcoholic. It's also not suspicious at all.
For now, don't worry! Mingle! Eat food! Don't think about all the bad things going on right now!! And don't forget to read the rules near the punch bowl.

I am surprised. Truly.
[but that question actually catches her off-guard and her lips part in surprise. it's not so much crow, but that anyone would give her that courtesy is odd.
so she thinks about it.
and thinks.
she does not want to tread into dangerous territory, unwittingly. There is so much she must not reveal if she can help it.]
...My favourite season. What is something you would not wish to be asked?
no subject
Probably anything about my past. It might seem like an obvious choice, but not being able to remember much is annoying.
no subject
[she sounds like she means it, though. not as some platitude, considerate as it may have been.]
I would not have asked you that as a matter of course for that reason.
no subject
Appreciate it. Anyway! What's your favourite season?

no subject
Got strong feelings about it, huh?

You're a real stickler for the rules... Okay, I'll answer two questions.
no subject
[hm now she has to think of two.
don't think about sex. DON'T THINK ABOUT SEX.]
Have you eaten something you do not care for, yet and aside from a casino what would be your choice for an addition to the train?
no subject
Let's see... I took a bite of raw, unprepared fish.... I don't recommend it.
[ He tucks his hands comfortably behind his head as he talks. ]
And two.... I dunno, a gym would be nice.
no subject
[like, without missing a beat.]
Unless you mean to say you took a bite out of a fish straight from the water.

I will permit you two questions for this one: was this a bet or a dare?
[because
she could see it.]
no subject
It was a dare! No way would I do it without a reason.
no subject
I did not think so, I simply wanted to know which of the two it was since I was confident in my conclusion I had come to of the matter.
no subject
Got me figured out already, huh?

[Her tone is light and not hinting at anything. She does not sound strictly puritan, either.]
Ask another question, please.

no subject
[there's much much more she could say about the last point but she's trying to BE GOOD and not fucking S.]
no subject
no subject
[none of the other stuff huh
She has an idea but first--]
Does blood make you squeamish at all?

[TO ANSWER THE QUESTION BECAUSE SHE'S COUNTING THAT.
because u kno what fuck it. Amane pulls off one of her gloves by her teeth. Her nails, though long and elegant, do not appear nearly sharp enough to cut a finger but as she presses her thumb into her index finger, that is what appears to happen.
But depending on how perceptive Crow's eyes are IDK MAYBE HE HAS MAGIC FUCKING EYES he might see that her thumb seems to grow sharper. It all happens in a very quick moment.
She crouches down and starts to draw something on the floor with her blood very quickly before she rises again. Her voice takes on a strange echoing, layered quality when she speaks next, the tips of her fingers pressed against another.]
Enferme.
[The blood glows brilliant blue before it and the light fade away.]
Much better.
