EVENT: Upgrade!
Who: Everyone
When: Day 57, morning
Where: The train!
[ There is a new car attached to the back of the train. You'll have to get past the garden, the gym, and the library to get to... the arcade.
Near the entrance is where you'll find the conveniently-placed machines to get tokens to play any of the arcade games. It seems to be a formality because it doesn't actually cost you any sparks to play the games, but be sure to swing by there before you hit up the games. And what an array there are! Overall, there's two floors filled with various types of games.
There's the crane games, filled with various cute plush versions of monsters you may have faced before (both during your stay on the Aurora and back home) as well as, more rarely-- is that a plush of yourself? Or one of your teammates perhaps, someone you care about on the train. It might be worth trying to pick one up!
Next of course are the video games and there's an array for all kinds of interests-- Rhythm games of all types, fighting games, shooting games, racing games... There's no shortage of different types you can play. Try one out, you might like it!
There's also a variety of purikura photo booths if you and/or a friend would like to try your hand at getting a cute set of sticker photos.
You've got some time to relax for the moment, so why not try it out at the arcade? ]

Or the obviously dangerous thing like weapons. Weapons are supposed to kill you. Cars are supposed to get you places.

[AS FAR AS HE KNOWS.]
[Really, it's more a wonder why he wasn't in the Forest five times over.]

wew. she is not about to have that conversation now. sigh he'll remember soon enough though, or he won't. she still cannot be 100% certain this is the one she knows.
anyway.]
I suppose that would be something to be proud of, yes. It speaks to your competence.
no subject
I am all about being competent.
Now if only I could find a way to be competent at 'make cars hate me less.'

The space station had no driver. That was just how gravity got turned back on.

Gravity got turned off, fight happened, I turned it back on and when I looked up, there was a car flying at my head.

So far, a space station hasn't tried to come for my life.
Been enjoying the arcade?

[she's not a superstitious person much, but honestly, his fucking life warrants it.]
no subject
Yeah, probably.
Does a ship crash count? Maybe that counts. It was pretty massive, like a single thruster was the size of a train car. Went down in a canyon and the only people that survived were those of us in the combat grade power armor.
no subject
That is unfortunate for those who did not have the armour.
no subject
Yeah.
.... [There is a long, distance look from him for a minute.]
Anyway, my track record is stupid. At least there's no vehicles here to run people over.
no subject
Not yet, anyway.
no subject
Well, this world doesn't seem like it'd have much in the way of vehicles.
Unless it's like candy themed go kart land.
no subject
I would not put it past what remains of the universe to do so.

[time for SCIENCE!]

If you want help, I'm up for it. I kinda know proper scientific protocol. And also willing to punch rude candy that can't even taste good.
