Where: near the Train

The rain falls harder, and the snake sneers at you as you exit the temples... Lightning strikes and the snake laughs like thunder... But that's all, the mocking laughter rings in your ears as the scenery shifts back to the normal Train area. Those who revive will do so near the Train as the winners and survivors reappear.

Ginger and Licorice double win for both surviving and targeting a Priest! For these teams they get 800 points.

Jasmine wins for surviving! They get 500 points.

Everyone on a winning team is revived and fully healed.

Everyone else... Is revived. And healed. However in whatever death wounds they received they have, instead of scars, white scales for their skin.

Smaller wounds will regenerate in a one to two days and will leave scales instead of scars unless healed otherwise.

All Kami remain hungry and able to shift to their monster form for the next day or so. Only meat will relieve this hunger.

Any Kami that were mad at the end of the game will retain a bit of mental instability for a day, in whatever form you prefer.

Priests, if they normally have powers, will find themselves somewhat weaker for a day.

It is not ICly known that these effects will wear off.

Exactly. Just cause we're cute and don't have claws doesn't mean we're not a force to be reckoned with. There's a reason not even violent creatures actually try to start a war.

Dragons have been known to eat ponies.

Griffins like gold, a lot, and believe in strong lording over the weak.

Then there's creatures form the badlands, though they're not so organized in general.

How big of dragons are we talking about?

Varies. Some dragons are only a bit bigger than ponies. Some dragons are the size of literal mountains.

How do you deal with something the size of a mountain?

Most ponies don't.

Otherwise, numbers or a lot of magic.

There's a whole story with an ancient Pegasus rookie saving his squad from a dragon like that. Now he's a legend.

How did he do it?

Oh, let's see.

[Closing her eyes, thinking about it.]

His name was Flash Magnus. He was a lowly cadet in the Pegasus army the day his squad needed to pass over the dragon lands to meet with their comrades on the other side. That was when the dragons came, refusing to let the squad pass.

The cadets were separated from the others, all captured save for Flash as his commanded was able to come in the last second to save him.

The squad was ready to give up on their captured brethren. They couldn't hope to outfight the dragons.

But Flash thought he could out fly them and out think them. He would play distraction while the others save those who were captured.

The commander gave Flash Netitus, the fireproof shield and wished him luck.

He lured the dragons out of the cave and with the aid of the shield, was able to keep himself from being burned alive as he flew around to keep the dragons distracted.

The rest of the squad saved those who were captured and together, they were able to pull together enough clouds to create a giant storm cloud.

Ponies can't take a dragon in a straight fight, but dragons aren't immune to lightning. While Pegasus have a resistance to such things. He led the dragons into the cloud and with enough lightning strikes, they were hurt enough to flee.

And Magnus was able to return to squad, alive and still able to fly.

Flew into a lightning storm? That's some hardcore shit.

....I mean, not as much as leading dragons on a merry chase. Dragons are generally pretty good flyers.

And a lightning storm isn't fatally dangerous to a Pegasus. I mean, they DO control the weather, it'd be bad if it was.

How does a pony control the weather?

By....being able to manipulate clouds?

I mean, whose in charge of your weather?

Well, yeah, there's certainly weather scientists, but like whose in charge of the actual manipulations?

[malignstar]

Not scientists. Like hot and cold currents that create storms or heat waves. It just happens naturally.

[daydreamshimmer]

What? No, no, that's....

That's not...

[She's frowning, staring at the ground.]

It's probably different in pony land.

I know weather. I know how it works.

I just know two ways of 'how it works.'
