Who: You
When: Day 52, morning
Where: Anywhere
[Of course there's still the flowers that, when stepped on, enhance or dull a sense, and there are still some chocolates in the lounge if you missed them or want more.
But this morning dawns with an infestation of bats.
That is, tiny tiny clockwork bats that get in your hair and coffee and make tiny tiny clockwork bat screeches.
Should you encounter a clockwork bat, and they're pretty hard to dodge, the next person you talk to will... Well, see one of your memories.
Otherwise it seems like a pretty typical morning, and the bats will be gone by afternoon.]

Sorry you had to see that.

You're the one it happened to, man, don't go apologizing to me.

[Not like he'll ever forgive himself but, also, it was a long time ago. And he is a tool. That aside, even though he knows he doesn't really get the same rights as a real person any more, Randy being upset about it like he's a person is still endearing and he can't help but be warmed by that.]
Thank you though.

It's not your fault. You had no choice.

He ducks his head a little, putting his face on Randy's shoulder.]
Randy...

You know I'm right. I'm so sorry, Rean.

[He kisses the top of Randy's shoulder.]
I've got you now, though.

I'm grateful for it.
[But if Randy ever had to he still wouldn't hold it against him. He is, in the end, what he is. As human as he remains he's still a weapon.]

[pets.]

Instead he'll be grateful and genuinely glad for the luck and warmth he has in the moment.]
It's true, and you're more than just a decent guy.
