[80H is baking very, very early morning, but she will have breakfast ready on time when it comes time for it. Still Jasmine's kitchen manages to be covered in a lot of cakes, even with its considerable counter space.]


The Lounge

[80H has summarily taken over a part of the lounge. It smells absolutely heavenly, an aroma of fresh-baked sweets hanging in the air. She's rearranged some of the furniture and created some of her own out of beautiful especially crystalline ice.

There are neatly cut sandwiches, coffee (yes, five, it is good), and tea upon a table.

But there are several smaller round tables with various implements. Icing bags, toppings, flowers, chocolate, fruit, nuts and the like. But the tools are oddly blue and crystalline, slightly cool to the touch, but easy to handle.

To anyone that enters, she makes this announcement.]

I dare you to decorate at least one cake. Do one with your team, do one with your friends, do one with perfect strangers, I do not care. Please help yourself to as many as you like, but do be mindful of waste.

[The cakes are on another table. There are a few smaller ones and larger ones, naked and moist. There are also many, many cupcakes. Easier to eat and finish.]

[ Crow considers that carefully for a moment. On the one hand, owing someone an undefined favour seems like it could be dangerous in the future. On the other hand, it means he doesn't have to give up any sparks and he's still trying to save up 50k of them....

He nods and grins. ]

You not even going to discuss anything you'd refuse doing before striking a deal? You're really not good at this.

I was thinking about anything that might clash with your morals, not something you'd find shameful.

But good to know you don't care. That makes things easier.

Morals-wise, the only things you're going to hit on are things that are vanishingly unlikely for anyone to ask a guy to do for a favour. There's no need to say "I'm not going to murder my friends" when the chances of you asking me to do that, especially in a small and enclosed environment like this, are so slim that bringing it up is pointless.

So really, the worst you could do for a favour is ask for something that makes me uncomfortable but not so much that it'd cross any lines I need to worry about. I could have negotiated the finer details but it's really just going to be stuff you almost certainly wouldn't have done in the first place.

That is of course, just off the top of my head. There is the possibility you're actually some tiny psychopath, not unlikely given the random nature of people pulled in from wherever the hell it is the Prince finds people to drop into the train. So as far as that goes, it is a gamble not to negotiate. But I'm willing to take a roll of the dice.

Word of advice. Don't assume. I could and absolutely would ask you to murder your friends if it was ever necessary.

But as luck would have it, I need the 1000 sparks in case someone on my team dies and we don't have the funds to revive them. That's the favour I'm going to ask for, and I'll leave them to you for safe keeping.

And in case I'm the dead one. Obviously.

There's a fine point to that, "if" it was necessary. At that point though, there's likely to be bigger problems to be worried about than my morals. And if there isn't, that goes back to my point about it being possible you're a tiny psychopath.

I'm trying to save up sparks anyway, so it won't be hard to keep that many aside. You've got yourself a deal.
