Who: All heroes
When: Day 45, Morning
Where: The clearing

[ In the morning, all heroes can wake up to see a new trial is being held! Following the door that appears in the clearing will lead to a Very Scary, faux-abandoned house. There are all the markings of terrible Halloween decorations, for those that are familiar with it. There are fake spiderwebs all around, fake bats, skeletons, and even spider skeletons.

There are several different tables spread across the room - one has a pile of small, sticky spiders in it, then there's one where people can get refreshments, if they so wish, and all others have tons and tons of pumpkins sitting there. None of those are carved - though there are several carved, lit pumpkins spread across the room - just sitting on the floor.

Notably there is a runway, and behind that, a room in which people may grab costumes, or pieces of costume. Make up is also provided.

Finn can be seen at the end of the Runway, aptly wearing his Spider-Man costume, before he begins to explain ]

So! I've recently found out I fight crazy people for a, huh, possibly living. Whether I get paid or not is still under debate. And who would have thought, there's a costumed guy for every occasion. There's no better way to drive off the mental image of a guy fighting with a flaming pumpkin on his head than make better memories, so I'm imposing Halloween on you all.

For those of you who are not in the known, what with us being all from different worlds and stuff, Halloween is, huh ... probably an actual serious holiday somewhere, somehow, but in practice it's all about the money, baby! And scary stuff. And sharing scary stories and getting candy.

So there you have it. A game to get some actual fun Halloween action that does not involve people barely avoiding getting brutally murdered and blown up. Not speaking of anyone in particular here.

I have another scary story. This one a bit more serious. [Then dumb kids.]

There was a transport driver who shipped supplies across the solar system. Taking things from the garden planet to the other planets that had colonies. Trips that would take a few days, but nothing too arduous.

A bit lonely. There wasn't need for more than one driver for such short trips, but it was good pay and easy to do.

Until one day, halfway to the next planet, in empty space. Not a ship in sight.

There's a knock outside the air lock.

Oh! Oh, that's creepy.

A lot of space urban legends are like that. Getting something knocking outside when there should be nothing.

Usually it's either isolation hallucination or a really wild story.

If I get another candy for spooky stories, I can tell you a variation on that. It's pretty similar, but it's a little different twist.

Is it the hook door one?

It's the sailor hearing knocking on the hull.

Ooooh, yeah, that'd be pretty bad too.

Or mermaids, but those can be scary too.

There's a lot you can do with mermaids. The whole ocean has all kinds of creepy stuff that can be explored.

That's true.

Actually a lot in common, oceans and space. I think. I don't know if I've ever been near an ocean, mostly just the space.

[Considers.] I've only remembered seeing an ocean once.

It's super worth checking out if you ever get the chance! Seeing one is one thing, but it's a totally different experience being out in the middle of the one.

Yeah, especially when I flew over it.

Most of the time I've either in the middle of the desert, a valley, or the jungle. [Pause.] And mountains, I apparently just avoid the shore.

Maybe when it's for sure safe we can take a boat out here.

Could be fun. As long as we can afford a boat.

A little sailboat shouldn't be too costly.

Just have to make sure we don't go too far out.

....do you know how to sail?

I know the suuuuper basics of it. I've never done it by myself, and if I'm at the ocean I usually almost always have Tiberius with me, so I don't even need to sail well.

...we may want to have someone who can definitely sail with us.

I have no idea if anyone knows how.

I'll ask around.
