When: Day 44, morning
Where: Around the train

[ It may have been only a few days, but did that heatwave feel like it lasted forever to anyone else? No? Either way, it's gone now. Bringing with it a blessed coolness. Actually wait, it's cold-- too cold! Worse yet, not even going into the train seems to really help. Fortunately, someone seems to have been kind enough to leave some nice, fuzzy blankets lying around. Too bad it doesn't seem to help much unless you share them with someone...

Either way, you're in luck because you've got some new teammates on the train! The notification appears cheerfully on everyone's Chains:

How's that? Good, warm, toasty?

[ depending on how close he gets, he might notice a faint scent ... something like ... mocha?? and s'mores?? all with a hint of campfire. ]

Toasty might be the word for it. You smell like you've been camping?

[ Cranes her head around to sniff herself. ]

That's just my scent.

I didn't expect dragons to smell like that.

It's my scent, not dragon-scent.

Don't people all smell different?

Depending on where we've been or if we're wearing special scents.

But everything has its own scent, just because it's itself ... and then packs have pack-scent. Team-scent.

That's true. I can notice that stuff a lot more when I'm a wolf.

[ Snuffles her nose into his hair, sniff sniff?? ]

[ Laughing and leaning back a little ]

Yeah! Wanna see?

[ Is now a woof ]

Now we can try to hug like this too!

[ Time to sniff the woof form all over, too, sorry if she shoves her snout in his ears in the process ]

[ Still laughing and squirming some ]

What are you doing?

Gotta sniff!

[ SNIFFING IS IMPORTANT ]

[ But she does eventually back off some, with a happy wiggle and a bounce ]

Hm, hmm. Fire and bad eggs.

[ FLATTERING. ]

Dusk gave me Meridian.

Bad eggs?

[ Another sniff or two ]

Yyyyyes? Yes. Well! Hm, kind of. Like volcanoes and hot springs and bad eggs.

That doesn't sound too appealing.

Why not? It's not big or bad.

I don't know. Smelling like bad eggs sounds like a cry for cologne help to me.

[ Wrinkles her nose. ]

That stuff smells strong. [ And fake. It's weird. ]
