[ It may have been only a few days, but did that heatwave feel like it lasted forever to anyone else? No? Either way, it's gone now. Bringing with it a blessed coolness. Actually wait, it's cold-- too cold! Worse yet, not even going into the train seems to really help. Fortunately, someone seems to have been kind enough to leave some nice, fuzzy blankets lying around. Too bad it doesn't seem to help much unless you share them with someone...

Either way, you're in luck because you've got some new teammates on the train! The notification appears cheerfully on everyone's Chains:

Correct. We're on a team, Clover. We're teammates. There's six teams on the train. Ginger, Jasmine, Licorice, Thyme, and Senna. They all have colors. We're pink. [Getting a drink of water because he read for like five hours.]

Okay. So, as I've said, we're a team. And we're a team on a train that's kind of traveling between dimensions. We're from different places.

Are you familiar with the concept of alternate dimensions?

[ It may or may not be surprising that she actually perks up at the idea of alternate dimensions. ]

Yes! Really? We are?

Yeah. Like I don't think dragons are a thing for my dimension.

We can compare notes later because I think it's very rarely sometimes a thing for me. Or I just want to believe in magic that much, one of those.

But there's a lot of places that are a lot of magic being very common and that's definitely not my place, so dimensions.

Now for the bad news.

We're here because something bad happened to home. This thing called the Malice has consumed it.

And we're supposed to save it.

[Dragon things is apparently ready to deal with terrible or does not comprehend it yet.]

Yeah.

It's a lot, but that's that basic idea. The saving it part is....a little weird though.

[ Sits back on her haunches, her tail curled around her paws. The tip twitches and flicks. ]

Teamwork and magic, yes? What else?

No, that's pretty much the idea. At least, that's what we've been told and stuff has been happening.

[And he's gonna show her the sign that's here in the lounge car on ways to earn sparks.]

We combat Malice using the power of bonds. When we Bond, we generate Sparks, and that in turn provides power for purification.

[ Nods along like, ah, yes, this makes sense, this is fine. ]

Then, I will bond and fight for my world and everybody else's.
