The sound of a giggle fills the air and leaves behind bubbles-- touching one will give the uncontrollable urge to hug the nearest person. They will persist throughout the night. ]

But I'm kind of confused how your world works. And how you go from ponies in a library to needing to take a driver's test.

Not to mention, the... colors.

Yeah. Yeah, I have those questions too. Because maybe humans could make sense as some small hidden part of the world and that's why I couldn't recognize them, but that makes a lot less sense with stuff like cars and a world like that and why I am one and why I was one BEFORE.

What about the colors?

Well, you see the people here. There's a few differences. It's almost like your human selves just look like anthromorphisized versions of your pony selves.

Anthromorphisized? And there's a lot different. Yeah, I have the same coloring and voice, but everything else is different.

And so far, looks like I'm the only one who made the change.

Yeah, given human characteristics. Maybe that has something to do with your amulet.

That's a stretch. I've taken this off and nothing's changed. and those girls had necklaces too and there's no evidence they're not human.

I guess I just wasn't expecting your pony selves to be so colorful. Our ponies don't come in so many bright colors. Mostly browns, whites, blacks and yellows. Definitely not purple and pink. So when you take that sort of color palette and go from cute pony to cute ladies is kind of surprising.

And maybe their necklace isn't the same as yours.

Pony self. We don't know if any other ponies are in the pony land yet. Considering the level of assimilation, at least some of them have to be native humans.

The necklaces are all the same size and we're all wearing them. It's likely it's some kind of group thing with personalized styles. Or a fashion statement.

Your colors also sound....dull to look at.

Well, in comparison, definitely. But they're still really pretty. Horses look a lot better than our ponies though. They're majestic.

I'm just tossing ideas out there since I can't think of any other explanation for why a pony would need to be a human.

If they're anything like what Eliza described, they sound horrifying and extremely limited in what they're capable of. [Listen. Eliza described breaking legs and organs crashing into each other. It was horrible.]

That is the million bit question. There's a good chance it's a freak accident.

I was talking to the princesses. That was Princess Celestia. The immortal ruler of Equestria. Literally one of the most powerful and oldest creatures in the world. Her alone is one thing, but there were two other princesses too. That might literally be the only alicorns in existence and they were helping me with a problem.

That says I'm horn deep in some wild things.

I'd have to agree their limited compared to ponies that can read and build societies. But they're still pretty cool.

What's an alicorn?

What would you think of a human who could instantly shatter their legs if they get hurt and can only move their arms on one plane of movement? Like a circle instead of a full sphere.

The combination of all three pony tribes. Pegasus, Unicorn, and Earth pony.

Can you run as fast as them though? Those legs don't work with reading or opening doors. But they can sure move.

So that makes them more powerful or something?

That I can't know, but an in shape pony can run pretty fast. The Running of the Leaves depends on pony speed to get the leaves fall thanks to force of air and shaking of the earth.

Yeah? All ponies have some kind of magic, and they have all three and that's before factoring in whatever fundamental force they're connected to.
