[ The beach fades away, leaving everyone back in the comfortable and familiar surroundings of the clearing and their-- beloved?-- train. There are some new stars in the sky, twinkling in ginger goldenrod, thyme apple, senna terracotta, jasmine blue, and clover pink.

The sound of a giggle fills the air and leaves behind bubbles-- touching one will give the uncontrollable urge to hug the nearest person. They will persist throughout the night. ]

It is as I have said. I do not form bonds with others. I do not mind contributing my all to trials. I do not know what harmony magic is in this context.

You see that you can contribute, but you don't form bonds? People make bonds because they get things out of them, the fact you can contribute means you can bond.

Harmony magic is one of the most powerful magics around, if not the most powerful. It's just....hard to explain because it's all vague on how it works, at least from a generalized knowledge standpoint.

My contribution is competition. And not all people form bonds because of that reason or rather they do, but not for such cynical reasons.

Which cynical reasons?

See? You just make it sound like a cry for help. It's all 'I'm imagining things,' 'it doesn't exist,' 'it'd be nonsense.' It's never saying you don't want to talk about something that's clearly there.

No pony would talk this many circles around something that's nothing. Especially when it's moving into hostile circles.

Until you either give me the actual answer or you tell me you don't want to talk about it.

No saying I'm imagining it, no saying it's nothing because it's absolutely something, you've gone above and beyond to prove that.

An actual statement about yourself. Because it's a you problem, not a me problem and it's real rude to try and make me have yet another existential crisis instead of just saying 'I don't want to talk about it.'

Only when you give me one of those answers can we fulfill the pact.

It is not your problem, I do not understand why you would have an existential crisis about it.

'You're imagining things' and acting like it's not real calls into question my perception of the world.

If you don't want to talk about a problem, you say it. Trying to say people can't trust themselves is insulting and it just proves you do, in fact, have a problem, and probably a very serious one if a simple acknowledgement of something we both know happened is beyond your capabilities.
