It's powerful magic in Equestria. Very little is understood, but it's always taken at least a duo to use it effectively. Like a whole becomes greater than it's parts. It marks a lot of points in history. The alicorn princesses various defeating of darkness, the peace between the pony tribes, things like that.

It can't happen for just anyone. It has to be people who are really united in a single cause entirely.
