[ There's a playful giggle and the sound of splashing as the Mermaid's beach appears in the clearing. ]

Well, let's get my humiliating defeat down. [So dryly.]

[Pauses and steps back, widening her stance, but kind of unsure what to do with her arms so.]

[Not that Cat has done this before, but she's going to try to gently grab Solar Flare and knock her to the ground]

[She's not a hard person to knock down. Any ability she has, she's already psyched herself out of. She manages to struggle to keep on her feet a second or two, before going down with a squawk, and trying to grab at Cat's arms, but her grip is terrible.]

[immediately gets off her and offers a hand back up]

I'm sorry for that. Thank you.

Nah, it's cool. About what I expected.

[Taking her hand and getting back to her feet.]

The chain has a clock, so we can keep track of how long the hand holding lasts.

Phones are handy like that.

I need to say one thing I like about myself.

I like that I'm a go getter in weird situations, ready to try and find something productive to do.

[Chuckles.]

[And stepping close, hand on Cat's side and shoulder and will lead in a dance.]

[She's a pretty good one.]

[Cat doesn't remember how to dance, but she is coordinated]

You have good muscle memory, unless you're not among those of us with amnesia.

[She shrugs.] It's dancing and it's not like I'm trying to do an impressive show. Easy to dance then.
