[Have you enjoyed your day playing in your new train cars? Great! Because now it's Trial Time.

With the usual alert, the Cat's bar appears in the clearing. There's no "come hither" -- instead, just the pounding of bass from the speakers as the door cracks open. Inside there's flashing party lights, upbeat club music, and high-top tables surrounding a wide dance floor. The stage in the corner is empty except for a single microphone.

At the bar you can get free drinks, but you'll have to contend with the bartender -- a black cat curled up on the shelf between the bottles.

On the bar, and on every table, is a sign showing the rules of this game, titled:

Kiss or Dare

If you want to dress up for the club, or want costumes for daring purposes, there's a dressing room behind the stage with a magic closet. You'll find whatever you like in it, but when the trial ends you can only take home what you're wearing!

The first creature is way better. My brother and his friend found a hellhound litter in the woods when I was five, and they brought them home.

No, they were just wild hellhound pups. But after that I wanted to know how to summon them on purpose.

Ah, yeah, that would make sense. Why not summon pet if you could.

Right? So a hellhound was the first thing I summoned once I could, and then I switched to necromancy when I wanted to get into summoning dragons since the once I wanted to get the most were extinct.

So if you summon a hellhound, it's a hellhound that already exists?

That’s right. It’s one that exists and that has accepted the terms of your summoning.

Food, comfort, engagement, things to hunt. A really good fire.

For one, they have literally burning eyes. All black, glowing eyes, smoke and cracks of fire all over some of them. Super spooky! I like to summon the big ones, but even the small ones would spook a mastiff.

That sounds awesome. Do they burn to touch?

Usually not, but sometimes their paw prints smolder! You can’t walk them on wood floors if you don’t want to risk those prints burning in.
