[This morning, or whenever you wake up, you will find that there are delicious smells wafting from the lounge car. Upon investigation, one will discover a beautiful spread of hot cocoa and tea and coffee and many marshmallow animals, ideal for putting in your drinks or simply eating wholesale. It isn't just cats either, but many animals of a similar quality of marshmallow, whatever kinds you'd like. But you may find the warm fuzzies they impart might be a bit more than internal.

In a conspicuous place is a note in handwriting many of you may find quite familiar at this point:

[The kisses relax into lazy and languid, sometimes with tongue, sometimes moving to nuzzling Crow's jaw, generally he's happy, enjoying the recovery period. Crow's bigger and denser but Rean's a cheating divine knight so he doesn't even get particularly fussed about being squished for a prolonged period, rather content with a warm blanket of Crow.]

We should do this more.

[ Crow is very content to be a blanket, nuzzling against him contentedly. ]

I'm a big fan of that plan.

[ It's nice and he's not quite sleepy perse but he's so comfortable and he definitely wouldn't minf more of this. ]

Move off a bit.

[ Crow grumbles a bit at that but rolls off obligingly, snuggling up to Rean's side. ]

[Sitting up a bit, pulling Crow against him in a way that lets him just start petting and preening those wings with leisurely strokes of his fingers.]

[ Oh, that feels really nice. Okay, it's allowed and Crow lets out a small, contented hum. ]

Feel free to keep doing that as long as you want.

That was my plan, personally.

[Gonna pet this bird so much.]

[ The bird is very happy with being petted! ]

[ He drapes an arm loosely over whatever parts of Rean are closest to him. ]

We should shower later. You wash my back, I'll wash yours~

[ Because that definitely won't end up in Round 2. ]

That sounds like a good idea.

[Does he realize that's just inviting Round 2 or is he agreeing because he realizes?]

[ Either way Crow wins (though he suspects Rean at least halfway realizes it). ]

I've got a lot of those.

[He's running his fingers through Crow's feathers languidly though, content.]

I'm sure you'll have plenty of opportunity to be in awe of my genius.

[ Although there's confidence in his tone, it's nearly drowned by the lazy contentment as he continues to melt under Rean's touch. ]

[He's glad he can soothe and relax Crow like this. It's nice, too. Running his fingers over Crow's feathers. They're soft and smooth but they aren't the only thing. He pets Crow's hair and back as well, happy just to touch him.]

Mmhm.

[ What was he saying? He thinks he lost track... but he really doesn't mind. ]

That's... really nice...

[ He knows they both need to shower still, but Crow's finding it hard to stay awake with as warm and content and comfortable as he feels right now. ]

[Crow can fall asleep to being petted if he wants. Rean would be content watching him sleep and petting him the whole time.]

Yeah. It is.

[Soft and fond. He loves Crow so much, though it hasn't manifested in words or thoughts, there's just a gentle affection in the moment that's very warm.]

[ Crow hasn't approached the word "love" in even his most private of thoughts, but he's acknowledged at least to himself how important Rean is to him. That he treasures every moment with him-- not just the ones where they're kissing or fucking, but the ones where they're talking, bantering, playing cards. All of those moments, small and precious. It's a little like falling down, down, down with no ending in sight but he doesn't want to stop. He never wants to stop.

There is a warm answering glow of affection as Crow drifts into sleep. ]

[He's happy like this, holding Crow and petting him. He'll be happy just keeping Crow close and feeling his warmth as he sleeps. It's a deep contentment, feeling like this, Crow safe in his arms, under his hands, sleeping peacefully. He wouldn't mind if stretched on forever, in a way. Though having Crow awake to talk to is also ideal.]

[ He doesn't stay asleep for long-- he wasn't really tired in the first place, he was just so content and comfortable that he'd gotten drowsy. If Rean isn't paying enough attention, it may come as a surprise when he lets out a sleepy mumble. ]

...We really should take that shower.

[He was spacing out, so he blinks and looks down when Crow makes awake noises.]

Hm? Oh, yeah. Probably.

Let's go do that, then.

[ He says, still not moving an inch. ]

You don't seem inclined to move though.

It's not my fault you're really comfortable.
