[ As usual there’s a tremor and then silence -- and then, as may be familiar to a few of you there appears a glittering void, points of light twinkling in the air. As you step into the space it expands, seeming to consume you, the Aurora, and all that exists in general. There’s a feeling of vertigo as this happens, frozen lights swirling all about you and once again it's all accompanied by obnoxious giggling.

When the darkness fades, you find yourself in an empty, featureless room with three doors, and on a pedestal in front of you: matching keys for each door. ]

I was going to ask it originally! You're the one who got on the topic of telling me to date your boyfriend!

It's a more relevant topic. What in the world made you think it was a good idea to ask me? Unless your contract is very different from the divine knight I piloted before, it seems to have little to no benefit to me.

Because I thought it'd be less complicated if my teammate was the primary contract holder. It's true it's likely to be more hassle to you than benefit, since my power isn't needed here, but that's also why I thought it might make more sense to ask you.

It's not like I'm going to insist, I just thought I'd ask if you were willing.

The last thing I need is to have you in my head, and having to share your wounds.

Probably. We've a ten year gap in age, so I had some hand in bringing him up.

[He is genuinely so much happier to talk about Jusis. Rufus is a very proud big brother.]

Of course much of his success in life has nothing to do with anyone but him. Jusis is a strong, intelligent, & resourceful young man with a driving sense of justice and duty. He's an example to his peers.
