[ As usual there’s a tremor and then silence -- and then, as may be familiar to a few of you there appears a glittering void, points of light twinkling in the air. As you step into the space it expands, seeming to consume you, the Aurora, and all that exists in general. There’s a feeling of vertigo as this happens, frozen lights swirling all about you and once again it's all accompanied by obnoxious giggling.

When the darkness fades, you find yourself in an empty, featureless room with three doors, and on a pedestal in front of you: matching keys for each door. ]

THE PREMISE
Characters are ICly aware of the following:

You are raising a child; this year, the Prince of the Kingdom has declared he will marry the lucky girl who dazzles his heart at the Summer Festival! In order to have your little girl become a princess, you have 12 weeks to raise her Charm, Intelligence, and Diligence by choosing classes and free time activities that will bolster these traits. Additionally, every round you will be facing moral dilemmas - difficult situations wherein you must use your best judgment to either punish or support your child, depending on the situation. While moral dilemmas do not determine any specific stat, needlessly punishing or neglecting your child will change her temperament, which changes how well she interacts with her classes, as well as her moral compass, which affects how good of a person she becomes.

Although no characters may feel pain or experience death, there is a very slim chance of characters' daughters enduring such experiences in worst-case scenarios.

THE MECHANICS & RULES
• You will have 3 rounds (3 "weeks" per round, and 1 optional "week" for people who cannot participate during game running hours to participate) to either attend classes for your daughter that will raise Charm, Intelligence, or Diligence, or otherwise use free time in order to raise those stats.

• Classes are as follows: Culture class boosts Charm. Martial Arts boosts Diligence. Math & Science class boosts Intelligence.
• Each round has a total of 54 classes to schedule for (3 classes every day Monday thru Saturday, with Sunday as a mandatory day off).
• For the sake of simplicity, you may simply turn in with a note of either dividing up times between classes evenly or focusing on one class, without micromanaging the numbers.
• You may also choose to engage in free time with your child, using your character's own personal skills in order to raise your child's stats. Temperament and moral compass may change during free time.

• Every round, you will have 2 moral dilemmas in which you must choose to either punish or support your child in the conflict. In the moral dilemma, you may also interact with your child directly. Changes in moral dilemma may change the child's temperament as well as her moral compass.

• Temperament affects how well your daughter learns the materials. If you punish your child unnecessarily or neglect your child, her temperament will change. This will not affect your unit's chances at winning.
• A fair temperament means your daughter will get decent results in any class.
• A rebellious temperament is more effective for Diligence while being less effective for Charm.
• A meek temperament is more effective for Intelligence while being less effective for Diligence.
• A snobby temperament is more effective for Charm while being less effective for Intelligence.

• Moral compass affects your child's disposition to do either good or evil. This does not affect her stats, however it will decide the path that moral dilemmas go. This will not affect your unit's chances at winning.

• Good is defined as 'selfless' actions or 'actions that convey thoughtfulness of others' while also 'abiding the law'.
• Neutral is the default state, and complicated moral compasses are swept under Neutral for the sake of simplicity.
• Evil is defined as as 'selfish' actions or 'actions that convey thoughtfulness/thoughtlessness of others' and those actions may 'not abide with the law'.

• At the end of the game, every unit whose daughter becomes a princess will be a winner! Note that there will be 5 winners at maximum.

• Every day, the round will start at 3PM PST.

• Each round will last 3-4 hours, roughly speaking.

Miscellaneous Q&A
• Q: Can we leave early/come in late?
A: Absolutely! Just assume you like, went through a door and then it was the hallway but then the elevator wasn't there but then the door wasn't there until it opened again, or otherwise assume your character is just on autopilot.

• Q: Is…. there weird time dilation things happening this is like 12 weeks and also like,,
A: Yes, no, sort of, maybe? If you want to play timefuckery going on, there may be a vague feeling of just, having spent a nebulously long time in this game. You may also just play it as just being in the game for a couple of hours.

• Q: Do we have our powers/items?
A: Yes, and yes!

• Q: Can we ask IC questions to the gamerunner?

[ The keys are divided into three sections on the pedestal: gold, silver, and bronze.

inscribed onto the gold keys is the word nobility;
inscribed onto the silver keys is the word chivalry;
inscribed onto the bronze keys is the word humility.

Characters are aware that all keys have advantages and disadvantages, and will determine the starting point for the path in their game. Upon any teammate picking a key and opening the door, everyone on the same team may enter freely. ]
