[ As usual there’s a tremor and then silence -- and then, as may be familiar to a few of you there appears a glittering void, points of light twinkling in the air. As you step into the space it expands, seeming to consume you, the Aurora, and all that exists in general. There’s a feeling of vertigo as this happens, frozen lights swirling all about you and once again it's all accompanied by obnoxious giggling.

When the darkness fades, you find yourself in an empty, featureless room with three doors, and on a pedestal in front of you: matching keys for each door. ]

It felt like we were in there for months, but also not. The people felt real but also simulated, and now we're not even able to contact the girl we raised.

It sits weirdly with me is all.

[ It's too late, he's already absorbed this thought and set it aside to think about when he's alone in the middle of the night. The good news is, he's not going to push Rean about it, instead draping his arm over Rean's shoulders. ]
