[Right, so. Yesterday was a Lot for several of us! There was a trial, some of us have more tokens to use, we’re all hurtling towards a possibly inescapable doom, it’s great.

But instead of focusing on that! Today in the lounge, one can Lucien and Naeva with a basket full of paper flower charms, made so you can hang them on your wrist or in your hair. The flowers are...well, Naeva’s doing her best to make them, and she bought a great deal of pretty origami paper for this.

Of course, when you take one, there’s affirmations attached to them. And the large princely Licorice may give you one directly. Such are the wonders of life on the Fun Train.

You may also just choose to mingle about the train, whatever, live freely.]

I like you both, and both would be better for me in terms of mana. But I'm concerned that we're all on different teams.

If it comes to competition and I'm injured, the possibility of it affecting my contractors instead would really undermine things.

If you can do both, then that's even better. More than one source of mana sounds like a safer bet for you. As for the rest...

....It's a risk, to be sure, and possibly even a dangerous one. ...But running around with next to no energy is also a dangerous risk. Is it worth it to keep yourself all but incapacitated just to protect other people? Personally, I don't mind living a little dangerously.

If that were all I'd be fine staying incapacitated. I'm just worried I'll end up worse than a burden on everyone like this. But I also don't want to trade your safety for my abilities.

It's not worth it to me to put you in extra danger just for myself.

I don't even now how much my power would be of use to you versus how much of a liability our contract would be.

Alright. So I get the risks, I get that it might be more risk than there is reward. And I'm still saying sign me up.

I'm kinda curious about those ideas... but it can wait until you've had those talks.

It'll probably just be easiest to do it when I'm ready. I don't know how to articulate what goes into a contract, I've never had to do them so deliberately.

Yeah. The trial isn't strictly real but... it's real enough.
