Who: Everybody!
When: Day 14, morning
Where: Public Lounge
[Good morning, Aurora. Things seem peaceful, don't they? But, well, there is a terrible doom brought upon this train. Maybe you noticed it near your
car. Maybe you felt a terrible presence in the wee hours of the morning. Maybe you just wanted to get breakfast in peace. But anyone going through
the lounge today will find themselves presented with something strange and terrible.
Stickers.
They're bright. They're sparkly. Naeva has an inordinant amount of them and is sticking them on anyone and anything she can get close to. If you ask, she'll probably
let you pick one out. Or maybe just snatch a sheet from her when her back's turned.
And hey, if you're not here for stickernanigans, maybe you still have some memories to broadcast? It's a beautiful morning for a beautiful mingle!]

[ reaching for his shoulders to prop him up - surprisingly strong for her size and frame, but not forcefully ]
At the very least you must see to your breakfast...
no subject
Heeey, don't think I've met you before.
no subject
More pertinent than that, I would say - rather, of greater import at present than seeing us introduced, I would say it'd be prudent to see to your breakfast before it cools.

[ He drags himself into a proper sitting position and pushes his food back towards him. ]
Name's Crow, nice to meet you too.

[ after a short pause, she'll sit down nearby, with some comfortable, non-intimate space between them, hands folded in her lap ]
Do you remember very much?

[ but she's at a bit of a loss after that, still kind of tired herself, so there's a pause. the reason is pretty obvious, and she'd prefer to avoid pointing it out, but ]
Is there some reason that you were sleeping in the dining room? It's hardly appropriate for your back...

[ her gaze sort of. drifts over the hickies without meaning to, ]
Would you like some coffee?
no subject
Didn't sleep at all! Coffee sounds amazing.

and then she stands up. ]
Ah, in that case - one moment, please.
[ we are heading off to get some coffee cups and not reflect on the fact that we were caught staring. she comes back a little bit later with a couple of cups of black coffee, one in each hand, then sets them down. ]
no subject
Now that's good stuff.
no subject
[ though she's satisfied with it black apparently, blowing on it a bit before taking a sip ]

[ putting her own cup down to pluck at the empty air just above the table - a couple of bagged sugars and creamer containers drop neatly onto the table in a few motes of iridescent light. ]
no subject
Now that's a neat trick. More magic, huh?
no subject
[ peering over at him a little thoughtfully. she doesn't think she got too deep into jargon explaining it, but she's aware enough of herself right now to be concerned. ]

no subject
Are you very familiar with magic? I suppose you might not recall...
no subject
No clue, unfortunately. All I can say for sure is that the idea of it doesn't make me uncomfortable.
no subject
no subject
Now that's a tactful way of putting it.
[ He gestures around. ]
Everyone's been pretty welcoming so far! I have no complaints.
no subject
[ shifts her gaze away, oops ]
I hadn't intended to say... I suppose I'm still a bit tired.
no subject
[ He waves a hand dismissively. ]
No need to apologize.
