Who: Everyone
When: Day 13, afternoon
Where: Public Lounge

[ Guess who's trying to earn as many Sparks as possible? This guy. So on Day 13, sometime during the day each Team may have received a quick visit from this guy, encouraging them to come to the public lounge during the afternoon to partecipate on a get to know each other exercise. For anyone who asks, he'll explain on very generic terms that it's just a game of truth or dare or kiss, and he's going to try his best to convince people to actually show up.

For those who do show up at the public lounge in the afternoon, he's going to explain the basic set up ]

All right, so, the whole thing is pretty simple. Usually, I guess there should be something to spin or help with randomly selecting people, but that's going to get complicated, so let's skip that one. You see someone you want to get to know, you partner up with 'em.

Here's the rules. You ask your partner to pick Truth or Dare, and ask or provide your challenge accordingly. As the person who's been asked or challenged, you will have the option to back out of it by kissing your partner instead. Doesn't have to be anywhere specific, there's kids here.

You won't win anything out of it except, huh, my gratitude for taking part, I guess.

Oh! Hi, 80H. I don't mind, did you have a dare?

I did, yes. My apologies.

[tried to be as non-invasive as possible.]

It's fine, I really don't mind.

[yeah but]

Did you wish to play?
bowtiedbones: (27)

[personal profile] bowtiedbones 2019-02-27 04:59 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, yes! I do, I like this game.

Very well, you may go first if you wish.

I'll take Truth.

What is your favourite kind of dragon?
bowtiedbones: (27)

[personal profile] bowtiedbones 2019-02-27 11:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Greater Coastal! They're extinct now from overhunting, but one of my familiars is one.
voreaciously: (47)

[personal profile] voreaciously 2019-02-27 11:53 pm (UTC)(link)
...What are they like?
bowtiedbones: (8)

[personal profile] bowtiedbones 2019-02-28 12:02 am (UTC)(link)
They're one of the largest dragons that ever were! They were like if you took the basics of an albatross or a giant petrel and dialed it up for dragons— they could go thousands of miles over the oceans without touching down.

[her voice is mild but her eyes open a little wider.]

That is seriously impressive, but how large could they be?
bowtiedbones: (32)

[personal profile] bowtiedbones 2019-02-28 12:25 am (UTC)(link)
Old whalers' stories have claims of them getting enormous, and those aren't totally backed up by the fossils and trophies that have been recovered, but my Tiberius has a skull about the size of a truck.

[honestly, that's a little mind-boggling. that would take incredible amounts of energy to do and maintain, especially if they are like albatrosses.]

How heavy were they?
bowtiedbones: (22)

[personal profile] bowtiedbones 2019-03-01 04:14 am (UTC)(link)
Probably not much more than 60 tons at the high end.
voreaciously: (89)

[personal profile] voreaciously 2019-03-01 04:19 am (UTC)(link)
[oh okay well, hm. sixty tons is pretty very heavy, but that seems more manageable. Still, wow, they must have been powerful and she is doing some quick calculations in her head. It's one thing to be able to fly with that weight but to fly great distances? Is entirely another matter.]

To be clear, how long could they remain aloft?
bowtiedbones: (3)

[personal profile] bowtiedbones 2019-03-01 04:25 am (UTC)(link)
For weeks if they had to, but they mostly tried to stay in range of shore.

[personal profile] voreaciously 2019-03-01 04:29 am (UTC)(link)
[INSANITY!!!]

That is beyond incredible.

[the change in her voice is mild, but it's telling that it's like, changed at all.]
bowtiedbones: (27)

[personal profile] bowtiedbones 2019-03-01 04:33 am (UTC)(link)
You see why they're my favorite, right?
voreaciously: (85)

[personal profile] voreaciously 2019-03-01 04:34 am (UTC)(link)
It is understandable why you would find them interesting.

[she is about to ask other things but realises--]

My apologies, this is more truth than you were required to give me, but I thank you for answering my inquiries. It is your turn.

Oh! I super don't mind. I'm happy to talk about my studies anytime. But right, Truth or Dare?
voreaciously: (53)

[personal profile] voreaciously 2019-03-01 04:51 am (UTC)(link)
Dare, please.

These are always hard... Oh! I dare you to drop the "miss" when you call me.
