Who: Everyone
When: Day 13, afternoon
Where: Public Lounge

[ Guess who's trying to earn as many Sparks as possible? This guy. So on Day 13, sometime during the day each Team may have received a quick visit from this guy, encouraging them to come to the public lounge during the afternoon to partecipate on a get to know each other exercise. For anyone who asks, he'll explain on very generic terms that it's just a game of truth or dare or kiss, and he's going to try his best to convince people to actually show up.

For those who do show up at the public lounge in the afternoon, he's going to explain the basic set up ]

All right, so, the whole thing is pretty simple. Usually, I guess there should be something to spin or help with randomly selecting people, but that's going to get complicated, so let's skip that one. You see someone you want to get to know, you partner up with 'em.

Here's the rules. You ask your partner to pick Truth or Dare, and ask or provide your challenge accordingly. As the person who's been asked or challenged, you will have the option to back out of it by kissing your partner instead. Doesn't have to be anywhere specific, there's kids here.

You won't win anything out of it except, huh, my gratitude for taking part, I guess.

[just as deadpan]

He's a terrible man, isn't he?

[but then smiles a bit]

Will you play? No kissing involved, of course.

It could be an interesting diversion. Very well.

[personal profile] acts_her_age 2019-02-23 07:16 pm (UTC)(link)
Then, truth or dare?
acts_her_age: (19)

[personal profile] acts_her_age 2019-02-23 07:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Get a drink from the dining car and do your absolute best to drink it without using your hands or a straw.
nihilmancy: (Curious)

[personal profile] nihilmancy 2019-02-23 10:49 pm (UTC)(link)
Wow. I thought you were a well-behaved child.
acts_her_age: (this is WAY better than feelings!)

[personal profile] acts_her_age 2019-02-23 10:55 pm (UTC)(link)
[i n n o c e n t]

It's truth or dare, after all. That one's a classic!
nihilmancy: (Surprised)

[personal profile] nihilmancy 2019-02-23 10:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Fine, fine. I suppose you'll follow me to see if I actually do it?
acts_her_age: :) (It's a quarthex!)

[personal profile] acts_her_age 2019-02-24 12:41 am (UTC)(link)
It wouldn't be very much in the spirit of the game otherwise. Let's go?
nihilmancy: (Laugh)

[personal profile] nihilmancy 2019-02-24 03:51 am (UTC)(link)
Very well.

[She makes her way to the dining car.]

[personal profile] acts_her_age 2019-02-24 03:30 pm (UTC)(link)
[following along!]

Do you think our Chains can record video, or just transmit it for chats? That would eliminate one modern hazard of truth-or-dare, if they can't.
nihilmancy: (Wistful)

[personal profile] nihilmancy 2019-02-24 03:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Er, I'm not familiar with the concept.
acts_her_age: (you in particular aren't special.)

[personal profile] acts_her_age 2019-02-24 04:01 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, I see. Like how our memories are displayed on the screen in the lounge? In my world there are devices that allow you to record memories that way as well. So if you had to do something embarrassing for truth or dare, everyone would have their Chains out to make sure no one could ever forget it.
nihilmancy: (Surprised)

[personal profile] nihilmancy 2019-02-24 04:49 pm (UTC)(link)
...That's terrifying. I've heard that some magic can do something like that, but it's supposed to be extremely rare, at least in my world. How can anybody sleep with that knowledge?

[shrugs]

It's mostly children and teenagers with the habit. It's often very helpful in solving crimes, as well, so there's some aspect of safety at the cost of privacy.
nihilmancy: (Neutral 2)

[personal profile] nihilmancy 2019-02-24 09:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Crimes can be defined quite arbitrarily. Some people's existence may be deemed a crime.
acts_her_age: (16)

[personal profile] acts_her_age 2019-02-25 10:50 pm (UTC)(link)
Do you have experience with that?

[personal profile] nihilmancy 2019-02-26 12:51 am (UTC)(link)
Just a hypothetical.
acts_her_age: (13)

[personal profile] acts_her_age 2019-02-26 12:46 pm (UTC)(link)
[shrugs]

It could certainly be worse for people who are targeted in that way. But helpful for objective proof of robberies, murders and assaults, for example.
nihilmancy: (Neutral)

[personal profile] nihilmancy 2019-02-26 06:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Hm. By the way, are you hungry? One of your teammates dared me to make a snack for somebody, and we will be in the kitchen anyway.
acts_her_age: :? (20)

[personal profile] acts_her_age 2019-02-28 03:11 am (UTC)(link)
I could have a snack.
nihilmancy: (Neutral 2)

[personal profile] nihilmancy 2019-02-28 05:06 am (UTC)(link)
The water, first.
nihilmancy: (A Look)

[personal profile] nihilmancy 2019-03-01 03:29 am (UTC)(link)
[She fills a cup with water, and then stares at it with intense focus.]

Hmm.
acts_her_age: :) (look how many diseases you DON'T have!)

[personal profile] acts_her_age 2019-03-02 03:41 am (UTC)(link)
Do your best.

[HELPFULLY]
