The Fifth Trial
Who: ALL
When: Day 11, noon
Where: Outer Space
Come hither, Heroes. Prove thy worth.
[ That familiar silence befalls everything following the call, and just like before the third trial there’s a glittering void, points of light twinkling in the air. As you step into the space it expands, seeming to consume you, the Aurora, and all that exists in general. There’s a feeling of vertigo as this happens, frozen lights swirling all about you and once again it's all accompanied by obnoxious giggling.
This time, however, when the darkness fades, you're...
Back inside of the Aurora? No, this is actually an entirely different train. Outside the windows, you can only see wispy, dancing lights illuminating the surroundings, which you can't quite make out. The doors outside don't open. ]

You're not even getting the basic point!! People would be upset if you died! They also don't want to die! They don't want to see you die! They would rather stay with you than sacrifice you alone! But none of that was necessary! All you had to do was get your head out of your own ass to see that!
Instead, to prevent needless tragedy, a soft-hearted man who likes you enough to hurt you rather than let you die, shot you when it hurt him more than any of that affected you!

Death is not permanent, here. Anyone who dies here will return. How very fortunate.
[that isn't the point and she knows that deep down, but.

He did not do me any favours. I was a barrier to protecting the rest of you. It had absolutely nothing to do with me and do not pretend otherwise. He was prepared to die until you told him otherwise and I was in his way at that point. That is all.

[even though she's the one that got shot. go figure.]
It does not make my recounting of events less accurate.

What is even the point? Where will any of this take her? He doesn't care to know and she doesn't care to explain herself, not when he thinks--and not wrongly, for the most part--the worst of her. Let him think what he wants.]
Yes. Well. Let us not waste any more time, then, if I am where intellect and work ethic encounter oblivion.

Will you fight me or run for this like you intend to run from all reality with your self-absorbed delusions?
