Come hither, Heroes. Prove thy worth.

[ That familiar silence befalls everything following the call, and just like before the third trial there’s a glittering void, points of light twinkling in the air. As you step into the space it expands, seeming to consume you, the Aurora, and all that exists in general. There’s a feeling of vertigo as this happens, frozen lights swirling all about you and once again it's all accompanied by obnoxious giggling.

Back inside of the Aurora? No, this is actually an entirely different train. Outside the windows, you can only see wispy, dancing lights illuminating the surroundings, which you can't quite make out. The doors outside don't open. ]

Amid various circumstances we were, at the end, commanded to decide on a group to die and those to escape. Clover decided we wished to leave the people we had rescued and save only ourselves and Jasmine, your teammates disagreed.

I... Used too much force, in convincing Randy to escape and in turn he shot your other teammate to ensure no one stayed so that we all would make it.

It was heated and messy and--unpleasant.

[ hmm. stepping a little closer ]

He doesn't look injured, though. And he's a pretty big guy - just what sort of force could you have used that he would have done that, and then shot her too?

Underhanded tactics. Emotional leverage.

[ quiet, for a moment ]

Right, it might have done some harm, but. . . in the end, I don't know what I'd do without them, and if you die, there's nothing left after that. Maybe I'm the cruel one for saying thank you, when that's something that's torturing you now, but I really am grateful.

...No, I believe we can revive, impossibly. But death is still... It's not something anyone should experience.
