Though you may have just got out of a Trial recently, there is the sound of an announcement on your Chain: ]

WELCOME NEW HEROES

[And indeed, there is another round of newbies waking up in their rooms, in the usual nondescript undies or team pyjamas. They'll get their basic welcome message and a prompt to view the IC Guide.

"Someone" has seen to bring refreshments to greet the newbies. It's sparkling water, refreshingly cool and surprisngly sugar-free considering the surroundings. If you choose to drink it, you will find yourself instantly refreshed, almost as if you'd gotten a full day's rest. You will also find that the very next thing you say to someone is a mildly inconvenient truth. It cannot and will not compel you to tell someone your deep, dark secrets but it MIGHT compel you to admit you forgot to brush your teeth this morning....

I suppose. But I know I am me, and that's good enough for now.

[He pauses, then turns a bit more serious.] There is something bothering me. I believe I'm missing something or someone? I don't really know what or who, but if you find someone else looking for someone like me, could you let me know?

I guess so...

[ Roxas hadn't even been able to say that much at the time. ]

You might be missing your friends. Even if you can't remember them, they're still part of you because you touched each other's hearts. Those lost memories just need to be reconnected.

I think that's how it works, anyway.

[ He's still not entirely sure how he was able to remember Xion after everything. That said, the only thing that matters is that he did remember her. If this guy still held onto some feeling of his friends, it should be the same for him once his memories were restored. ]

Missing my friends? [He bites his lip.] But I don't remember them. I just have this feeling. And it's bad but not awful.

Maybe. I'm still not sure but I guess I won't know until I get my memories back. [Which is actually the first motivator he's felt regarding that.]

... I don't want to feel this way. It won't get worse if I do remember who I miss, will it?

I don't know... My experiences with that whole thing are kind of... weird. But if you remember, you'll have the good memories of them too. So maybe it won't be so bad?

[ Roxas is a champion of reassurance, I know. ]

[Roxas is doing his best, okok.]

Yeah... yeah. That would probably be nice. [He's relatively optimistic himself, so it's not that hard to turn his frown upside-down.]

So, other memory-less person, where do we go from here?

Uh, I actually have my memories. But I guess I could try to give you a tour. I only showed up recently as well.

Oh? Not everyone is like this when they first arrive? [How peculiar. But maybe that just means he's special. He'll take it, either way.]

I wouldn't mind seeing more! Show me all the things you know.

I heard people say it's different for everyone.

All right. But I don't know that much yet. Where do you want to start?

[ People don't usually ask Roxas to teach them things. This is a weird new feeling. But he likes it. ]

Everyone comes in different. I guess that makes sense.

Is there anything to eat? Where do we go for food? Do we have to steal it? [He sounds surprisingly game for that.]

[Then Roxas is in luck, because this boy loves to Learn All The Things.]

There's usually food in your cabin car. But if you want something special, you probably have to make it yourself.

So it's easy to find. I'll go eat in a bit then. [He's not so sure about making food, but perhaps he'll get an idea on what to do once he knows what he's got to work with.]

Are we required to do schooling here?

[terribletwos]

I don't think there's any teachers here.

[ Not that he knows too much about school aside from projects, homework and summer vacation. ]

Really? [That strikes him as odd, but he's not sure why.]

So when we aren't doing hero things, we're just free to do as we please?

I haven't heard anyone say anything about school. And if there was anything here, it probably got swallowed by the Malice.

I guess. I'm still not sure what else there is to do here, really.

How very strange indeed. [He has mixed feelings about it, but again, not sure why.]

What about playing games? Or causing some mischief? That sounds like fun.

Causing mischief? Why?

Because it's fun to mess with people sometimes. And sometimes they deserve it. But mostly because it's fun.

Then you have people who don't trust you.

I didn't think you meant people getting hurt. I just don't like a bunch of people thinking the wrong thing about me.

What's there to think wrong? Isn't it naturally to want to have fun and cause trouble?

Sure you do! Most people do, in fact. [Well, he knows there's gotta be some people who don't like fun, but that's no way to live.]

Now, I think what we need to do is get to know other people on the train. Then after we have an idea of who they are, we can craft the perfect plan.
