Though you may have just got out of a Trial recently, there is the sound of an announcement on your Chain: ]

WELCOME NEW HEROES

[And indeed, there is another round of newbies waking up in their rooms, in the usual nondescript undies or team pyjamas. They'll get their basic welcome message and a prompt to view the IC Guide.

"Someone" has seen to bring refreshments to greet the newbies. It's sparkling water, refreshingly cool and surprisngly sugar-free considering the surroundings. If you choose to drink it, you will find yourself instantly refreshed, almost as if you'd gotten a full day's rest. You will also find that the very next thing you say to someone is a mildly inconvenient truth. It cannot and will not compel you to tell someone your deep, dark secrets but it MIGHT compel you to admit you forgot to brush your teeth this morning....

Because it's fun to mess with people sometimes. And sometimes they deserve it. But mostly because it's fun.

Sure you do! Most people do, in fact. [Well, he knows there's gotta be some people who don't like fun, but that's no way to live.]

Now, I think what we need to do is get to know other people on the train. Then after we have an idea of who they are, we can craft the perfect plan.

Well, you can't plan anything unless you know what you're aiming for. And you can't expect a prank to work the same on just everyone. You have to make it special.

It's supposed to be fun for that person, too. Unless the prank is a punishment. Then it's not going to be very fun for that person.

How can a prank be fun for the other person?

Once they know it's a joke they either laugh it off or get angry and chase you around with a broom or something. [He shrugs.]

The fun is worth it.
