[It's morning, though you might not know it from the darkness that remains outside. But there is an annoouncement on your Chain to brighten up the day regardless:]

WELCOME NEW HEROES

[This round's newbies are waking up in their rooms, in the usual nondescript undies or team pyjamas. They'll get their basic welcome message and a prompt to view the IC Guide.

As you go out to greet them, you might find that the entire train has been decorated! By whom is not readily apparent, but there's streamers and heart-shaped balloons adorning all the hallways and many of the additional cars besides which. It's festive!

You know what else is festive? The candy hearts sitting in bowls around the place. They all have generic, cute messages on them like "I ♥ You," "Be Mine," "Text Me," "Forever," etc. Try one out! Though you might find they carry some effects when you try one out....

♥ Pink Hearts These hearts will cause an empathetic bond! For the next few minutes/hours/rest of the thread, you'll find yourself connected with the nearest person in arguably the most intimate of ways....

♡ White Hearts You just can't help it after you chomp down on one of these hearts-- you've got a song on your lips bursting to come out! You may even feel up for dancing. Go forth and be your best, most musical sellf!

♥ Green Hearts You know what that person you're talking to RIGHT NOW needs? A hug!!! At least, that's the urge you'll get the moment you pop a green heart into your mouth. Although handholding also seems to get rid of the compulsion, so hey, there's options!

♡ Blue Hearts The very next thing you say after you eat one of these bad boys comes out in poem form! It doesn't have to be good poetry, mind you. Limericks, haikus, anything goes! At least it's mercifully brief?

And so it goes. Enjoy your icebreaker and make that fresh meat feel welcome!]

[Loki's interest is piqued by the announcement of new arrivals, and he's out to size them up for himself. And take in the decorations with some amusement.]

And what is the meaning of this? Some mortal tradition?

[He idly rifles through the candies in a bowl.]

Foodstuffs with writing... what will you think of next.

[He picks out a green one and eats it, chews for a second before rolling his eyes.]

Not the best humanity has ever created.

[Waking, there is a sense of emptiness. An unnatural, uneasy feeling. As she blinks up at the unfamiliar ceiling it sinks in that she does not know where this is, but neither does she know where it is she should be or who she is.

Logically, if she was sleeping here, this should be her room. There is nothing to say otherwise, but to say that to herself, it doesn’t feel quite right. But even with this haze hanging about her, she still manages to go through the welcome message she was given, change out of the pajamas that were given to her and venture out into the train proper.

She looks as lost as she feels, a strange cloudy quality in her eyes as she observes the party.]

Is... this for me...?

[She plays with one of the pink hearts idly.]

Though yeah, these candies were never the best. I think it was just the easiest to write messages on without them melting?

[ When you're used to either all black or a combination of black and white, suddenly being decked out in a pink unicorn pajamas is... bewildering to the say the least. Equally overwhelming is the pastel explosion that surrounds him. It kind of reminds him of his room in the digital Twilight Town, only much much brighter. And way fluffier.

At least it looks like he isn't anywhere dangerous. Which means he can poke around a bit. Though his method of poking around probably looks more like someone doing recon.

Also, his Chain has been placed as far away from him as possible. ]

B. ELSEWHERE ON THE TRAIN

[ Later, he's decked out in his unicorn shirt and pink overalls and questioning so many things. Like what is even on his shirt and why are these clothes so bright? Fortunately, he also doesn't know enough about the human world to realize that most people would probably be embarrassed right about now.

So instead he's going to make his way to the candy bowls and... ]

Hearts? Really?

[ He might not even realize they're candy yet. ]

[Dusk is usually aware when Someone New wakes up. It doesn't take long to memorize footsteps patterns, for him, so when there's someone new around, he's pretty on the ball about it.]

[And it's good, because it gives him a minute downstairs to get ready to GREET a new person. And have coffee in hand.]

[Because he hasn't slept after yesterday.]

[But he's listening for any sounds of distress. Or a call for attention.]

[ Roxas' head shoots up at the new voice and jogs in the direction it came from. Which is honestly kind of hard to figure out how to do in this strange outfit but he manages. ]

[Welcome to downstairs of kiddy corner and him drinking coffee while also pulling out breakfast stuff with his free hand.]

Specifically, you're in Clover car. Do you remember anything before waking up here?

[ Roxas rubs at the back of his head. ]

I remember being on the beach with everyone.

[ Watching Sora just suddenly vanish... Had something happened to the rest of them after that?

Though being in one place one minute and another the next isn't really that uncommon for him either. Hell, he's still getting used to existing again. ]

Did the others show up here too? Like a guy with messy red hair or a girl with short black hair?

[ There's an intensity in the way he asks, though not yet anxious. ]

[ Roxas gives the Chain a wary glance before looking away. ]

Oh, that. I didn't want to mess with it since I didn't know where it came from.

And I'd rather hear about my friends.

[ They'd only just found each other again! How could he have lost them so quickly? It had barely been a few days... ]

Could- ["all this be for you?" is what he would say if he didn't suddenly give her a hug before he could get more than one word out. He quickly lets go and backs away, staring at his arms with a confused almost horrified look.]

Well, there is a chemical reaction when two people touch so it's probably going for Path Lock's affect. You associate someone with the happy chemicals that come with touch so you're happier when you see them and thus it makes the emotional bond easier to achieve.

I should hope not. If you are then I may have to hold you responsible for what these things have done.

[ Sprawled on top of the couch on her back, her wings and tail draped out everywhere and her leggies in the air. She's snoozing soundly. ]

[ Alternatively, you could be in the Lounge when Faito takes one hell of a memory. It's bad. It's Bad. AGENT WASHINGTON IS BAD. Those who've seen Dusk's memories will recognise power armour when they see it, and those who went through Dusk's heart may or may not recognise a thing or two, as well. ]

[ By the time it's over she's got her head between her knees, curling in on herself, her hands around her throat. Her next breath is a thin, strangled wheeze. ]

Me? [ Tilts her head to peer at him, still upside down. She yawns again, sleepily rubbing her eyes and snout with her front paws. ]

You live in a train?

[ Which is probably the least helpful of all the other questions he could have asked. Including questioning the fact that she can talk. ]
