[It's morning, though you might not know it from the darkness that remains outside. But there is an annoouncement on your Chain to brighten up the day regardless:]

WELCOME NEW HEROES

[This round's newbies are waking up in their rooms, in the usual nondescript undies or team pyjamas. They'll get their basic welcome message and a prompt to view the IC Guide.

As you go out to greet them, you might find that the entire train has been decorated! By whom is not readily apparent, but there's streamers and heart-shaped balloons adorning all the hallways and many of the additional cars besides which. It's festive!

You know what else is festive? The candy hearts sitting in bowls around the place. They all have generic, cute messages on them like "I ♥ You," "Be Mine," "Text Me," "Forever," etc. Try one out! Though you might find they carry some effects when you try one out....

♥ Pink Hearts These hearts will cause an empathetic bond! For the next few minutes/hours/rest of the thread, you'll find yourself connected with the nearest person in arguably the most intimate of ways....

♡ White Hearts You just can't help it after you chomp down on one of these hearts-- you've got a song on your lips bursting to come out! You may even feel up for dancing. Go forth and be your best, most musical sellf!

♥ Green Hearts You know what that person you're talking to RIGHT NOW needs? A hug!!! At least, that's the urge you'll get the moment you pop a green heart into your mouth. Although handholding also seems to get rid of the compulsion, so hey, there's options!

♡ Blue Hearts The very next thing you say after you eat one of these bad boys comes out in poem form! It doesn't have to be good poetry, mind you. Limericks, haikus, anything goes! At least it's mercifully brief?

And so it goes. Enjoy your icebreaker and make that fresh meat feel welcome!]

[ Roxas goes into a defensive stance at the sight of the dragon and the sound of it being awake. But he doesn't summon his weapon just yet. ]

How'd you get in here?

Me? [ Tilts her head to peer at him, still upside down. She yawns again, sleepily rubbing her eyes and snout with her front paws. ]

I live here.

[ Well, the talking loosens him up some. ]

You live in a train?

[ Which is probably the least helpful of all the other questions he could have asked. Including questioning the fact that she can talk. ]

We all do! This is Clover's carriage. Clover's my team.

[ Rolls lazily onto her front. Or, she would've, if the movement hadn't sent her tipping right over the back of the couch and onto the floor with a heavy, feathery fwump and a SQUEAK. ]

Oof!

Huh? I don't remember being part of any group called Clover. And I really don't think I'd forget meeting a dragon.

[ Unless something's been messing with his memories again. Which really shouldn't be something he should have to consider.

And then the dragon topples, causing him to run over to her. ]

Hey, are you okay?

Owwwwww. [ Shifts and shuffles her wings, tail, and various limbs, righting (and untangling) herself. ]

[ She doesn't actually seem hurt, though, and she shakes herself off, a small flurry of down feathers drifting to the floor like iridescent snow. ] 'm okay! Thanks!

You won't remember joining Clover or meeting me 'cause both of them just happened.

But you said we're a team. How can we be a team if we just met? And I kind of already have a team.

It's not a team we made.

[ Settles down to sit on her haunches, grooming her ruffled feathers back into place with careful claws and a few licks here and there. ]

It's a team somebody else, the Prince of Stars, made, to help fight back against the Malice. The Malice is an evil thing that's destroying worlds. There's words on our phones that explains it all, did you see yours? Your phone? It's in your room - the room you woke up in.

[ Roxas absolutely refuses to touch that "phone". ]

Prince of the Stars? Why didn't this prince say anything to me before putting me on some random team? Like I said, I already have a team.

[ He definitely sounds defiant right now. ]

Guide on the phone says it's 'cause it takes too much energy to regenerate a soul to ask permission. [ Her tail flicks, feathers rustling as they're swished across the floor. ]

When the Malice attacked, all of the people are s'posed to have been eaten by darkness. Left floating in the void until the Star Prince found us. Now we're here, they want us to help save the universe through bonds and friendship. Light against dark.

[ A pause, and then, more softly: ]

Universe means our friends and families, too. Yours, mine, everyone's.

[ He goes completely pale, all signs of frustration gone. ]

Wait, you're saying my friends got swallowed by the Darkness?

But we defeated Xehanort. The Darkness is supposed to be gone! How can it be back?

If you've got a "darkness" back home, it's prob'ly not the same one ...

[ Cocks her head, making a worried chirrupy sound low in her throat. ]

Explaining is hard. Where's your phone?

I don't care what type of Darkness it is! If it's got my friends, I'm going to get them back!

[ Time to start heading back to his room so he can find something he can actually fight in and less... floppy ]

[ Cheep?? Quickly trots to catch up, ruffling her wings. ]

You can't save your friends by going alone!

You said the prince needs light. I'm a Guardian of Light now.

[ Well, sort of. He's still not that clear on how he fits into that whole deal, outside of fighting alongside everyone. ]

I can do something!

What can you do?

[ She's not doubting, per se, she just has Some Concerns. ]

We're already doing things, you should help us help everyone.
