Rean: A while ago some of us were discussing a festival where every team puts on a production, game, booth, whatever, maybe based around team bonds or interests.

What do people think? Maybe it's a good time to to talk about it again?

Crow: I like the idea of every team working on a production together as well as perhaps some independent projects.
Crow: We could probably do something with each team's Bonds for setup.
Crow: Some might be easier to swing than others but I don't see why we can't all work out some sparks in setting the whole thing up.

Rean: There's general bonds if team ones don't work. Or just go with what a team wants to do. Basing it on bonds could just be good place to jump off with for discussion, it doesn't need to be restricted.

Towa: I have a little bit of experience with that sort of thing, so I wouldn't mind helping anyone who might want it.

Crow: True. The idea of stretching them out creatively appeals but pushing someone into a corner isn't really gonna help.
Crow: I do have some ideas for what to do for a festival, though.

Dusk: On one hand, the horror of performing in public with enough time to actually get anxiety about it.
Dusk: On the other hand, it would be a good bonding experience.

Solar Flare: A proper party without having to do trial stuff and a show would be a lot of fun.

Towa: Some might even be able to team up and use different aspects of the bonds to put something together if they can't think of anything on their own.

Inaba: Utilizing team bonds for group performances would be pretty neat, in my opinion.
Inaba: I might have a loose idea for Thyme in that case if the rest of the group is OK with it.

Inaba: We have storytelling now as a bond.
Inaba: A play is a kind of story.
Inaba: You might be able to combine that with some of the other team bonds, too.
Inaba: And easy profit.

Crow: A play's a pretty damned good idea.
Crow: It'd give a lot of people something to do and it'd be fun.
Crow: And it's definitely a good way to use that new bond.

Towa: A play is a great idea. Senna might be able to use their decorating bond for a set or maybe even costumes.

Towa: Hehe I had a feeling you'd be really into this.
Towa: Actually, one of the school festival events back home was a cafe that offered different kinds of fortunes.
Towa: You might be able to do something like that with your own bond.

Inaba: Both can be feasible if we can get the materials.

Inaba: It's a lot of work, but it'll be worth it.
Inaba: Plus, there's a lot of different kinds of stories that can be done with a play.

Lorelei: If we must, though it may prove more productive if I do something separate from the rest of my team.

In the Lounge, a memory

[ ✫ She's in a cell … or maybe a tank would be the more accurate description, with one thick glass wall looking out into a much larger room. There's not much to it: a cold metal floor with no nest to speak of, and two metal tubes, both attached to what look oddly like futuristic over-sized hamster bottles — one contains water, the other a viscous green slop. That's it. That's all she's got. It's nowhere near big enough for a creature her size, 6'6" at the shoulders and with a wingspan of over 25".

✫ The room on the other side is much more spacious. It's a lab of some kind, not that she knows what a lab is. Very high tech and futuristic. Sometimes she's alone. Sometimes Mysterious People wearing masks stand there and stare at her, tapping on handheld touchscreen devices or talking to one another.

✫ Or, she thinks they might be talking to each other? She can't hear anything at all outside of her tank. Can't understand where she is, or why, or what's happening. She's confused and scared and she's angry. And … tired.

✫ She spends some time clawing at the glass, which does nothing. She spends some time slamming her tail against it, spikes-first, which does nothing. She headbutts it, grinds her horns against it, slams her whole body against it. Nothing leaves so much as a scratch. Exhausted, she slumps into a corner and tugs uselessly at the thick collar banding (too tight) around her neck. ]



[ And Meri just ... stares at the screen, her ears back, her usually expressive face indecipherable ]

Rean: It wouldn't have to be stand up comedy. Unless you wanted. It could be fortune cookies with jokes in. Or something else.
